| In the Dim Past a Legendary War Beasty was born...well about 5 years ago Friend John sent me a pair of plastic Rhinos of the Animal persuasion that he picked up at Michael's. From this somewhat less than promising start I came up with THE WONDROUSLY WEIRD mini I'm about to inflict upon you...my dog converted the other one . There is some discussion as to which conversion turned out better; she seemed to enjoy the processs somewhat more than moi...really got her teeth into it. AND NOW, WITH SOME FURTHER DELAYS, FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT & EDIFICATION, I PRESENT LULU THE LAND WASTER, SCOURGE OF THE OLD WORLD:

| Mega awesome! and i really believe your dog enjoyed the converting too! Unbelievable that YOU can actually train a dog to convert a piece, you are a true master in fungo veritas! haha nice doesnt that mean something like in fungus lies the truth? (coming from in vino veritas) I am currently studying the photo's of your work, it's very inspiring! Especially the 'stripe' technique, or at least thats what i call it. The way you do skin and such! Thanks for sharing your work! And thanks to Mordheimer (iirc) for making the pics! And Svenn for hosting!! | |

| Thanks for the kind words, Paluke! The dog was VERY talented; she taught me everything I know about modeling...such as it is. You got it: "In Fungus, there is Truth." On the banner I have: "Veritas Liberatis." "The Truth will set you free"...seemed to be fitting for my DRUG CRAZED LITTLE PSYCHO. | |

| This is madness ! Great dangerous beast that perfectly suits your infamous goblin warband! Have you already written rules for using Lulu in Mordheim and in the whole Old World ? | |

Madness? This... is... Mordheim! Yes, goblins love big dangerous creatures, even if they can't perfectly control them. Lulu is beautiful! I really love this beast | |

| Thank, Kapitan! Originally she was one of the more conservative pieces for my Night Goblin Army...I'll be inflicting photos of the Little Green Horde on you when Mordheimer has the time to snap some pics; she probably would have been a "counts as" bolt thrower. HOWEVER, having abandoned all hope of actually playing W.H.F.B., I've started doing Post Apocalypse Mordheim War Bands that would have such Beasties as the focal point. If it comes to gaming with the things, I suppose I'll have to come up with some rules. | |

| Thanks, Skavenblight...your message came in while I was Oh-So-Slowly typing out a response to The Good Kapitan's commentary, SO you get YOUR VERY OWN thank you! As I value both yours & the Kapitan's opinion, a postive response is EXTREMELY motivating for moi. I'm delighted you like her. | |

| Wow, great conversion, Al! Fits right in with your Ubergoblins. It's amazing how you turned a plastic toy into this great tabletop warbeast. I always (well, for a few weeks now) wanted to have a large warbeast too, and this really gives me hopes that I might find a cheap plastic base instead of buying expensive GW/Forgeworld mammoths. Looking forward to more pictures of your works | |

| Thanks, Sascha! I'm OH SO SLOWLY figuring out how to post thingies...of course, this won't preclude sending you some stuff to work your PHOTOGRAPHIC MAGIC upon. When I sent Edwin, aka Mordheimer, the minis to photograph, he mention that he subscribed to the philosophy that if he could eat it, it was his. EVIDENCE OF PHILOSOPHY IN ACTION: AND TODAY'S GAME: SPOT THE LOONY! | |

| Edwin Lulu (And I bet Mordheimer is relieved they are that-way-round! ) Brilliant work as always Alan - the details are wonderful. They look like VERY happy Goblins, and who can blame them now they can pick on the Orcs of the region with impunity! | |

| Thanks for the kind word, Saul. I think all the photos Himself has been taking has led to PHOTO FLASH PSYCHOSIS. | |

| Haha! This is a crazy piece, Alan. The banner is brilliant too and the lipstick is a lovely touch. One of the funniest conversions by far. How did you make the fur on her? It's turned out really well. | |

| @Skavenblight: Thanks MUCHO for the kind words. To stop Himself from eating Lulu, she is on permanent loan to Mordheimer. @Andy: Likewise, thanks for your comments. The "fur" is Woodland Scenics static grass. I stuck it on with tacky glue (Alene's Tacky), then hit it up with a spray finish (Krylon Workable Fixative), which locks it in place & makes the grass accept the paint better, & painted...I got the idea from one of Ali Morrison's Trolls. Here's another example: You can find more photos of Fast Eddy & Friends here: https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/miniatures-f2/the-now-completed-red-brotherhood-gallery-t4247.htm | |
