| It would seem that the forum has a lot of Orc fans so I decided to post one more Orc Standard Bearer. This Orc Standard Bearer belongs to the unit where I usually attach my Orc Shaman to hence the Banner... The artwork is based on a pencil scketch that appeared in the old Orc and Goblin Army book and inasmuch as I intended this unit to be where my Orc Shaman would be attached to, I decided that the artwork would be appropriate. What do you guys think? P.S. The wood grain appearing on the pole is hand painted. Please excuse the absence of basing on my Orc models because at present I am yet undecided on how to base my Orc miniatures. I wanted to make a base that would generate additional interest in them but at the same time be appropriate for them rather than just simply put flock on top of some ground works. Any suggestions in this area would be very much appreciated. | |

| Oh and here are two more of my orcs showing off their skull-face paint... This one has a blood-soaked choppa... ... and this one has drooled himself to a frenzy. I hope the Orcs of this forum approves of what I have done with my greenskins. | |

| Your putting your illustrating abilities to EXCELLENT use with the standards. The Shaman's standard is a FINE piece of work... LOVE the glowing eyes. The drool & blood are GREAT bits of detailing. | |

| Thank you very much DeafNala and Speckie for the compliments. Here's some more of my Banner Work for the Goblin members of this forum... This guy is from the Old plastic Night Goblins whom I simply adore on account of the sinister yet comic wackiness of their sculpts as compared to the new sculpts. He is appropriately accompanied here by a Night Goblin Warboss riding a Giant Squigg who is also the unit's mascot and inspiration for the Banner. Oh and here's a close-up of the said Squigg... Notice the drool collecting at the corner of its mouth? I hope you guys like it. | |

@Speckie
The drool was made from a careful application of clear glue.

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! Seeing as my name is dwarf-inspired, I think that it is time that I share with the community some of my Dwarves. Here is my Dwarf Army Standard Bearer... This guy is the Old GW Dwarf Army Standard Bearer. I simply love this miniature and the characterful and confident stance of the fig's pose. Here he is again looking rather imposing amidst my Dwarf-inspired terrain of Karak Azul I hope you like him. | |

Also, holy crap at that last picture of all the miniatures!

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! Here's some more dwarves... Sometime ago, GW released 2 magnificent dwarf pieces in the persons of Dwarf High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer sitting on the Throne of Power carried by his throne bearers and King Alrik standing on his war-shield carried by his shield bearers. After having acquired these two figs and after having inspected them, I was so amazed at the level of artistry in the design, creation and manufacture of these two miniatures that I was inspired to make my own version. After coming up with a suitable and acceptable design, I then chose King Kazador of Karak Azul to be the subject of my project (since I love the fig and his fluff) and this is what I came up with... King Kazador on the Karak Azulian Throne of Eternal Grudges! Here's a pic of the throne from the side. The transparent support gives the illusion that the Throne is borne aloft by the King's Throne Bearers. Here's a look at the Throne sans the miniatures... Notice the hand-painted detailing on the side? This extra piece of detailing was taken from the Chaos Rhino sprue. A front view of the Throne and its details, including the Standard bearing the Rhunic Symbol for Karak Azul. I hope you guys like it. | |

| Very cool, as ever I love those stuntis, I´ve played dwarfs in warhammer myself. And they are one of the most characterful dudes of the GW-world imo! I´d like to see the whole terrain you can see in the background, looks like an epic dawi-fortress. | |

| Greetings Getze! Thank you very much for the comments. As you requested, here's a picture of my interpretation of Karak Azul... Please excuse the crude photoshop background. I just wanted to capture the impressive abilities of the Dawi folks at making such impressive structures. I hope you like it. P.S. Here's the unedited picture of my dwarf-hold terrain with some of my dwarves in order to provide scale... | |

| @ WarbossKurgan My apologies for that. I made a sketch of my avatar character and uploaded it. I then tweaked it further to get the desired effect. I wanted an avatar that reflected a battle-tested veteran to match the "champion" status. | |

| Your skills are stunning, the details you manage to obtain just using a brush is insane. I LOVE all your banners the detail on the skull of the 1st one is GREAT!!
Greenskins... from the face paint to the loincloths from a recent raid to the bloooodly choppa and the drool [what did you use to get the effect??] are awesome and bring the models to life for than I could imagine.
Your sketches are also GREAT and I would love to see more!!
Keep up the great work!!
