| My pleasure to be of service...it's all part of the Good Fellowship Thingy. Thanks for posting you Oh-So-Cool Dwarves et al. The top Dwarf is definitely THE ARCH-TYPICAL DWARF...axe in one hand bottle in the other. His staid comrade is equally cool. GREAT WORK! | |

| The drunkard (or is it some kind of healing potion? there might not be a difference, come to think of it...) is really good. Your skill is unquestionable, as always, but you might want to add some highlights to the flask. It seems a bit dull compared to the dwarf (in other words, it would look great on one of my minis, but your standard is a bit higher...). | |

| Thanks for your kind comments. folketsfiende: You are absolutely right about that flask. I'm not happy with it either and it was my intention to paint it better, but after couple of tries I had to admit my skills just weren't enough. I'm not very eager to learn new things about painting anymore and am too lazy to read tutorials, so I just rushed it ready. Maybe I'll get back to it and paint it better at some point. By now I already know that my attempt to get 30 figures painted during this year has failed, as only 26 figures are ready and it's almost christmas. Better luck next time, eh? Anyway here are my newest additions to this warband, and 'cause dwarf warband without thunderers would be blasphemy I got only two words to say: More firepower! "Born cross-eyed..." Hair of this one looks pretty bad, but it will have to do for now. | |

| VERY NICE! The faces & the wood grain on the muskets is EXCEPTIONALLY WELL DONE! I share your problem with tutorials; along with rules, they have a certain effect on moi... . | |

| Thunderers look great, you really do these miniatures justice!
About the flask, it just occurred to me that it looks a bit ceramic, which is good in its own way!
Tutorials rule! I seldom take part of them in their entirety, but some parts of them jog my attitude towards painting and modelling in a new direction, so boring as they may be, tutorials are pretty darn useful... at least to me (might say something about the level of my knowledge...).

| Great job on the last two stunties, love the way you painted the wooden parts of the handgun/pistol, excellent! Sooner than you thought, I guess. Bought new batteries for camera and took pics of the two other figures I've painted during this year. | |

| Thanks for commenting. Pistol dwarf is actually converted using marauder organ gun crewman. I really liked the figure and thought it's position was perfect for such conversion. | |

| Ooh, wicked nice! Please make these swift pic postings a new habit of yours. The pistolier is very dynamic; and He holds the pistol much as I would - as far away from myself as possible... | |

| Seems like it's time for a small update! Photos and some rambling too: Better pics of the second noble after finishing touches. Eyes have been re-painted much smaller and they look more natural now. Assassin approaching his poor victim. Happy with the conversion, but I really should read some tutorials about painting black. Dwarfs: In painting and modelling -section there was someone looking for bandit figures. I've had the same idea for a warband for some years now. Bretonnian and empire militia mixed together was going to be the backbone of the warband, but thought of pinning all that plastic together made me consider second time. Well, I've found some suitable figures and perhaps this is start of a new warband. And even if not, it's still fun to paint humans for a change. And finally some baddies, orc and mutant: Would love to hear your comments. | |

| OOOH COOL STUFF! You've come up with some very nice additions to your Gallery. The freehand work on the Dwarfs is EXCELLENT...especially the Little Guy in Red. The five o'clock shadow on the Bandit is a fine touch. The assassin turned out TERRIFIC...what was he originally?; the black has a nice dusty quality to it. AND the Bad Guys are cool as only Bad Guys can be...the One-Eyed Whatever is my favorite in the Group. All in all VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Hey! Went through your threat and I must say, I really like your work! I especially like the first dwarf noble and the way you painted the fur cloak! Also like the second assassin! The way you have painted the black is perfect I think! Lastly I really like the look of the orc! Kinda reminds me of the ogres from Disney's Gummi Bears Anyway, great job, keep posting! | |

| Good stuff! Bandit, assassin and eye patch dwarf are my favourites. I must say that I think the black clothing on the assassin looks good. Black can actually be surprisingly bright, when light falls upon it (yes, I know that's kind of a contradiction in terms, but what the hey). The mutants weapon looks pretty darn run down, which is very fitting IMO, and the stump is really gross! | |

| Cheers guys! A bit surprised by your comments about black, but if you say it's fine I have no choice but to believe. Always a joy to receive feedback from you DeafNala. It's good to know that bandit's stubble is visible enough; no need to paint it darker as I was going to. Assassin wasn't actually that big conversion. Torso is from Vendel miniatures' "Men o' the east" blister, head from West Wind and knifes are "borrowed" from catachans. luckyjoe: Must admit that I got heavily inspired by the mutant shown in banner on top of this site. But thanks, glad you like the little monster! Would love to see photos if you decide to make orc-mutants yourself. - BurnTheWitch wrote:

My god, you are right... Their likeness is staggering! - folketsfiende wrote:

I wanted to create something "mordheimy", creepy and weird etc. and tried my best to achieve that kind of look. Really had fun converting and painting this figure and actually I'm already thinking of making him some company.

| Slowly but steadily my painting continues. So here we go again! Dwarf trader. I went with imperial look, but if needed in game it'll count as arabian merchant. Merchant's bodyguard in "Oi! Come here and say that again!" -pose. Some normal dwarves for the warband: My inspiration for mercenary/human warband lasted for two figures. This is the second one and I'm not at all happy with the result, but here it is anyway. And finally Ogre bodyguard. I tried to achieve somewhat ragged but still pompous appearance like he's "been in business" for quite some time. Shirt sleeve is teared and shirt too small, but golden necklace with twin tailed comet hangs around his neck and hammer is ornated with bronze. Click view image to see bigger pics. | |

| OH BABY...more Vertically Challenged Grumps! One of my annoying habits with viewing Oh-So-Cool minis is trying to pick out a favorite; this is nearly impossible with your minis, although the bodyguard might have an edge. The human is a well done piece; it might just be that the Dwarfs have SO MUCH more character that he falls short by comparison. Be that as it may, they are are all WONDERFULLY WELL DONE! | |

| Man, I really love your painting style. That last dwarf conversion is a great use of the throne-bearer, too! I think I have a spare set of throne-bearers, and for some reason it never occurred to me to just stick a weapon in the other hand, resting on their shoulder... | |
