| I've been busy with what will probably be my last building, as there is absolutely no more room for more... I have a few WIP shots for you to show my progress. This is the one that will go in the center of the city. A lot of scenario's for Mordheim require an objective placed in the center of the board, something I haven't been able to do before now. The ground floor is accessible via a short bridge, the upper levels will be connected to different other buildings with walkways. Being the central building I thought it deserved someting a bit special, something to catch the eye. Rivalling the height of the belltower, this new spire should do that quite well... A view of the front of the tower... From the side... A closer view of the spire... As you can see, the main structural work is more or less done. Floors, walls and windows still need to be done, as well as the roof... The top floor will remain open, providing a lot of space for an objective and also allowing easy access. This will be the front door... Another thing I've been working on are the bridges of the city. After completing the drawbrigde, the other bridges were lacking a certain amount of detail... With the addition of a singe lantern, this bridge suddenly gains a lot of character. The rest of the bridges will be done in a similar way. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think. | |

| The BEAUTIFUL modeling that graces your gaming board/master piece makes it an EXTRAORDINARY creation, but it's your attention to details that give it a unique character all its own, AND a WONDERFUL, INSPIRING thread to follow. BRAVO! | |

Say it isn't so!! What will you do once this one is built? Paint? Seriously though, I have really enjoyed your works thus far, very inspiring. Any plans for adding water effects to the board? If so what are you planning on using?

Yes! When it's done, I will put up a pic for the photoshop enthusiasts out there to do their magic on... Small update... While technically not Mordheim or even scenery I just have to show you this... A conversion of the mechanical horse of the Empire Engineer, making it a mechanical pegasus. I have done this conversion a few years ago, using a pair of wings from a Dogs of War Birdman. While this was quite cool when I made it, I found it a bit lacking. So I figured I should give plasticard a try... I purchased a new miniature and started work this afternoon. This is the result so far. The rider and base are from my old conversion, which I never finished The pics don't do the model justice, but you should get a pretty good idea of where I'm going with this. My Empire army has a strong Engineers theme, and while I want to have other characters, I want them to fit the theme. This will be the mount of an Empire Captain who get's the jolly task of hunting enemy wizards and war machines... Your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think.

What about dungeons and sewers? When you can't go up... go down. Your table needs large drawers underneath. Yep, plenty to do still...plenty. Your DaVinci Pegasus is inspired. Some feedback: I would love to see some more pistons on the wings, perhaps two underneath, and two joining the other ones...because I really like them.

You are kidding me... It's a shame we live so far apart, otherwise we would create wargaming fusion on a regular basis The original conversion was not half as coo as this one, and it's not even finished! - Quote :

I sure hope so... And now for some more Leonardo inspired madness... With the release of 8th edition, I wanted to reïnvigorate my Empire army, for that end I've constructed this boiler from scratch (almost, the exhaust is from the 'old' metal Steam Tank)... I won't tell you yet what it's going to power, but you are free to venture a guess. The first one who gives the right answer will receive eternal glory! A clue: it will dwarf a Steam Tank... Your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think.

| Eternal glory for superscenic! I've got a few pics for you! Please keep in mind it's still very much a WIP and all made from scratch... The basic construction is mostly finished but the wings and a lot of details still need to be done. Cockpit front... Cockpit rear... Still needs a ladder and some more levers and details... Cannon! Basic shape of the airship... And a few pics of the project so far... The model is about 8 inches long and 3 inches wide. Wings, rudder, anchors and a lot of details still need to be done, but you should get the general idea... Your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think. | |

Eternal Glory for me!!. Brilliant. You should add propellers and barrels of oil for bombardment, maybe some side cannons or a harppon with a grappling hook to grab onto those buildings. It would be cool if crew could walk along the wings to attack buildings.

Nope, no balloon but wings, just like the mechanical pegasus... - Quote :

So many cool ideas! Thanks! I also considered suicide Flagellant bombers, throwing themselves out, holding a keg of powder... - Quote :

I make them myself, should you be interested in trading... Small update on the airship! I finished detailing the cockpit... A little something to keep your beverage within arm's reach... I also started work on the wings this afternoon, not yet finished, but you should be able to get the general idea... Underside... The wings were constructed in the same manner as the wings on the pegasus. A bit flimsy, but the pistons really give some good support. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think.
