I actually got into the point that I ran out of models that were waiting to be painted, so I need to start building some more again.
I'm really surprised about myself for keeping on painting weekly as I usually run out of steam after a while.

Anyway my building plans include about 3 boyz with swords and shields (as soon as I can get my hands on some spartan-ish/round shields) and finishing my captain.
I'm also experimenting turning a rebel grot miniature into a fanatic. Not sure how to make a squig herder though.




Also these dudes need a splash of paint.

Squig Herder - if you have any spear armed models you could do a hand-swap with a grot?
Or (if you don't have any spears) maybe you could use the zappy pole (that comes in the Gretchin box for the Runtherd) attached to the muzzle of one of the Grot's guns?

Not much to show this week. Just this one squig. The other squig's claw was in bad shape and I didn't see that until I got some paint on it. I'll see what I can do to fix it.

That's what I've been thinking as well. I just need to find the perfect tip for the prodder and the right looking hands.

I LOVE Squigs for their innate silliness...this one is no exception. The orange is a nice change from the usual red Beasties. VERY WELL DONE!
Judging from you FINE WORK with your minis & their bases, your scenic efforts will most probably be SPECTACULAR...gives moi another reason to hate you.

Sadly I'm planning on just building your every day average mordheim buildings, but I'll promise to do something with a salty sea flavor later
Got a good start yesterday. Got the base and basic structure parts on and all I need is to add the details and the roof to it. I'll take a pic as soon as it's starting to look like something.

I fixed the paintwork on the squig, but unfortunately all the pics I tried to take of it came out crappy... So I'll just shoot it on another day. Perhaps when I've got more minis to photograph. I recently received some perfect shields so I'll be building some more crewmembers soonish. In the meantime, here is some terrain I've been doing: Click here!

Here's a little something I've worked on lately besides my orcs. Painted this chap as a display model for the store I work at.

VERY, VERY NICE WORK! You have a real flair for the Nasty Lads of various sizes. The Pirate Boys are up to your high standards & make a FINE addition to The Crew.
The display piece Ogre & trusty(?) steed are VERY IMPRESSIVE both for the sheer size of the not-so-mini mini, & the craftsmanship involved.

You did excellent job!
