| Lately I've been fiddling with the dark arts of terrain building... so here are some pics: Still needs more boards all over it, the whole upper floor, balcony, stairs and a roof. Originally I intended to do a rushed job to get as many buildings done as fast as I could, but I guess that plan failed as I've done this over a week now. This bugger is an oldie, but I never got around to paint it. It was originally done for fantasy battles and it's not really the most optimal structure to mordheim (you can't enter it or put minis on the roof). Well it's a good piece for paint testing. I'll take better pics once they're done and painted.

| Nice! We have a few "intact" buildings that are inaccessible to models in a game but we use them anyway. A few places on the board that just block line-of-sight are fine when mixed in with ruins. | |

| LOOKIN' GOOD! The Tall Ruin is TERRIFIC...love tall buildings. It's smaller intact brethren is equally cool, &, I think, you'll find a multitude of uses/scenarios where it will feature...the location for the stash everyone is vying for comes to mind. Keep up the FINE WORK!

| It's ready. It's all done from scratch apart from that window. Once again it looks different in real life due to crappy lights. The stonework isn't as bright and the wood is way darker. Tell me what you think as I'm really interested to know that I'm on the right track here. - drakkol wrote:

I've had that waxcloth over my painting table for about 10 years and I've never even noticed to read any of the text I got it from my grandma so sadly I have no idea where it came from originally.

| That REALLY painted up BEAUTIFULLY. I like your choice of colors & the balcony is a SPECTACULAR touch. Just a couple dozen more & you're in business. VERY WELL DONE! | |

The balcony structures are made of barbeque sticks and the rest is sculpted with super sculpey. It's not the most optimal material to do it with as it needs to be put in the oven to harden, but fortunately you can cheat it with a hairdrier. One could do it with greenstuff or any milliputty, but personally I like how super sculpey behaves when you mould it. Here's a crappy wip pic that shows what it looked like before painting. Wish I would've taken a frontal shot to show it better
