I am doing OK, that is, I will just get the warband finished... kind of embarrassing if you consider that I don't really do much all day

Not going too well... really busy with work so my warband has remained untouched fo 2 weeks now! :S but I really want to get on it later this week, as I'm almost done with this webpitch.. but still a LOT to be done! :S speaking of what is to be done... anyone got a good Idea as to what to use for closed cart wheels? (like the dwarven gun wheels, but bigger)

(though I'll keep your offer in mind Cianty... I really want to get my own cart done though! :S)

What's a closed wheel? One without spokes? The dwarf gun wheels seem pretty open to me... However, the dwarf flame cannon has wheels without spokes, as does the Orc boar chariot, the Goblin wolf chariot, and the one of beastmen lord Gorthor.

Yeah, that's the type I'm looking for.. but I think I want them to be even bigger (the rear two at least)

I think you could try to scratchbuild them. This might be easier, as wheels are generally a pain to get.

Hopefully! Luckily I don't have to work the coming two weeks, so that leaves me enough time to convert everything up, and then paint the suckers!

The main problem for my warband atm is the Bull Centaur, did Blitzkrieg_Bob actually finished one? Because I'm using the original Bull Centaur body for my mini now, but it's hard to make a body to fit right, because the size of it is right between the size of a Dwarf and an Ogre..

Thanks a lot for the offer, it'd be great to atleast be playing Chaos Dwarfs even if I wouldn't make it in time!

Ezekiel, I agree with Eliazar that scratchbuilding them indeed would be the best option. Balsawood is a great material to work with, or maybe even these large popsicle sticks doctors use to check your throat..

my warband is comming along great. I even made 3 back-up warriors already the painting is a tad slower, though.

Regarding painted models... do the bases count, too? Because I'd perhaps like to try to paint a hired sword or two, too, but am still undecided about how their bases should look like, given the fact that they are supposed to be interchangeable with a variety of warbands... Thus, I'd like to leave them black as they are.

Oh, come on! Just sand them and drybrush a little. You can't seriously plan to leave them blank forever...
