Hello everyone,
Thought id add my 2 cents worth ..... so here are some shots taken near my home. One is taken from my house with the creek full of water, which it never usually is, the other is the Young Endeavour in Twofold Bay. The last shot is the skeleton of old tom a killer whale which during the days of the whaling station in Eden used to alert and then help the whalers catch baleen whales in the bay. Check out www.killersofeden.com its one of those quirky old tales which is true

VERY COOL PHOTOS! I also live [kind of ] in an area where whaling was a way of life. From Sag Harbor, Greenport & a dozen or more little coastal towns the whalers set out for Greenland & returned with the spoils of the sea. The South Shore ports engaged in the sometimes more dangerous smuggling trade. Thanks for the post.
