TOM'S BORING MORDHEIM MEETUP - CHAPTER ONE

Chapter One - Preparing the game, meeting the guys

The days before the Big Meetup, many tasks lay on Admin Tom's shoulders: preparing the scenery, buying truckloads of snacks & drinks, transporting important stuff from his place to the gaming venue, adjusting lighting, cleaning, fetching eager gamers from airports and trainstations... that's why he ordered respectfully asked me, his fellow slave good friend, to help him complete these adventurous quests.

This is Admin Tom (hallowed be thy name) placing the buildings on the gaming board:

On the day of the Big Meetup, finally, the guests arrived! From left to right: Lanyssa Ryssyll, Boehm, Erkwin, Admin Tom, Tortiou, and Matt!


The guests are here, the board is ready... the Battle can begin!

Speaking of pleasures to look at, LOL, good to see some faces of the Boring forumers! Although Lanyssa tries to hide behind hisself.

I thought you were going to play at microconstruct's? It doesn't look like that - did they close their shop?

Microconstruct unfortunately closed its shop, but the online store remains.
To cut a long story short, I was at pain to find another gaming venue, especially as everyone had booked their tickets already.
But I finally found this cellar, which I rented, and in the end I think it was better then actually playing at Microconstruct, as it was bigger and cooler (outside temp. 30°C!).

We had our own fridge with cool beverages, couches and were able to eat crisps as much as we wanted!

"Cooler" literally, hm? Sounds great! (I'm a crisps addict - Nachos especially)

YES! GOD/TORITOU/TOM/MATT IS/ARE GOOD! [actually Tortiou is GREAT; he told me so ]

The photos are TERRIFIC, NICE looking motley crew of Mordheim addicts [WHFB players tend toward the rotund side whereas Mordheimers are LEAN & MEAN ], MAGNIFICENT gaming table, AND you are my kind of gamers;i.e., the discussion of the snacks takes precedence over ANY actual gaming subject.

This was well worth the wait [kind of ]! The battle reports, judging from Tom's previous efforts, should be the crowning moment in my misspent life!

Addendum: 1) What language(s) was used during the games? This could be the Tower of Babel Gaming Club!
2) Is there an Orange Tree growing in Mordheim?
