| Ah, I see, that's a clever idea indeed. Unfortunately, I don't have such cord Hm, perhaps I can show it to my mum and she can locate it somewhere. | |

| it's the same cord that they use for those charm bracelets, beads, etc. It's in any hobby shop, just go to the craft section, and look for the bead supplies. It's very cheap as well, and lasts forever! | |

| If I travel from Malmö it's only 830-isch km... and it is to be known that I've taken longer roadtrips for far smaller rewards. Alas I have no free time right now as I am slowly transmuting into a suit Would be awesome with a tour chart (Maybe something to fill that T-shirt with?) "Boring Meetup '09/'10 in:"etc Maybe even give our american friends a better shot at joining too Oh well, Berlin next year was it? hmm If there's any swedes reading this and feel like they might be missing out this year, just PM and we'll see in six months or something if we can't arrange a running pickup if we all chip in for bus renting expenses and gas. We could even pick up any willing danes as the shortest route seems to pass you guys (and any willing finns or norwegians could take the first train to either Stockholm or Gothenburg) with 830km+ we'll have ample time to pull of a game or two on the way to get to know each other properly, scheme plot and to build up steam for on comming events! | |

| It seems there is trouble in even creating a group of regulars locally (or enough to make up the framework of any type of campaign or ideas of gameclub arrangements interesting) | |

| Allright! Battle has commenced! We've met up right now with Eliazar, JohnYoung, Lanyssa Ryssyl, Pfreck, Matt, and Ezekiel for the first game in the series of this weekend... We've constructed a little map based campaign system, and got pitched on 2 different boards, three against three, making for two exiting battles. The Amfitheatre saw a occupy scenario in which Eli had to run for his life (4 out of 10 OoA) The Black Pit settlement was terrain for a Ambush scenario in which Ezekiel's Witch hunters made off with 10 ( 10) Shards of Wyrdstone! since the opposing dwarfs and Ostlanders couldn't make it in time to stop him. Now we are about to enter the post battle sequence, and are having a blast! - Wish you were here | |

| However, fear not, brave Jian Wei and Skagi the Dwarf are not as dead as our foolhearty enemies might think - a friendly witch restored both to full health (for all my money). It's a shame about the dueling pistols, though EDIT: This is Eliazar posting, who completely forgot that he is not logged on with his account. | |

| Johnyoung reporting: After a early start (10H30 , ugh!) we got joined by Magnolia, and played 2 fun game. One took place at the west gate and involved Pfreck, Magnolia and Johnyoung trying to run away from a giant walking mushroom and his saplings (modificaation of the scenario the west gate). John's Reiklander routed quickly after 3 losts in the first round due to Pfreck's ogre wreaking havoc in his marksmen. The game ended in a tie when everybody ran away from the mushroom of doom that walked straight into a huge brawl involving most of the 2 remaining warbands. Funny fact: Pfreck's Elder got taken out of action by a swarm of crazy rats that ran over a melee he was involved in. Eliazar is taking over: On our table, we saw a fierce battle of my pirates allied with what remained of matt's beastmen fighting Lanyssas dwarfs and Ezekiel's witch hunters, who did not ally. Matt was quickly beaten up by the dwarfs and routed after turn 3. Then I baited two of Ezekiel's flagellants with my gunner (who went OoA, but got later promoted to a hero), then charged with my heroes. One went OaA and the other got stunned, but the cowardly witch hunter ran away before I could finish him off. Then the pirates tried to cross the gret open space to kill the dwarfs, but couldn't make it and routed after the sufficient number of fighters had been killed. The Chariot Race We just had a great race, it was a great lot of fun. The High Elf chariots had a great headstart, but two of them got wrecked by the end of round 1 and after half of round two, Ezekiel's Lion chariot got eaten up by 4 coold ones who broke lose from another wrecked chariot. In the end, only Pfreck's chaos chariot and Eliazar's orc chariot made it beyond the finishing line. We took a lot of pictures, so expect them soon. EDIT: Tag just arrived, so he will take part from now on Edit edit: Matt posting: @ Ezekiel; IT'S KRACKATOAAAR WITH TRIPLE A!! It's been great fun, and I'm expecting a lot more. the only hard thing for me is that Krackatoaaar (the minotaur, luckily not the Possessed bastard) died. therby, Tzaal-ha, my shammie, also died. now I just have 4 guys left . Though I have formed an alliance with Eliazar(pirates) and Nigel(possessed) (not on this forum) so I hope for some better results from now on

| Eliazar's sad report of battle no 3. Keep some tissues at hand. Battle No 3 is over on the village board and it was a bloody CATASTROPHE. Eliazar's pirates got locked up in combat with Magnolia Fan's kislevite bear for the whole game, while Matt's remaining 4 beastmen got slaughtered by Alvin's (not on the board) dark elves. The centigor captured the prince (it was the Lost prince scenario), got locked in combat with several kislevites and dark elves and eventually fell. At first, the battle with the bear, which was joined by some kislevites and two thirds of my warband did go well, I didn't do any harm to the bear (T5...), but stunned and knocked down several kislevites, who unfortunately never died. After Matt routed, I was only waiting for my turn to voluntarily rout too, in order to keep the casualties reasonable. However, MagnoliaFan had other plans, took my 2nd Mate OoA, as well as Jan (the recently promoted gunner) and Cabin Boy Jim. Jim and Jan died, as did Nkunda the Bosun. One of matt's beastem also died, but rebought his shaman, so there's still 4 models. I will see whom I will hire, but our alliance is slowly shrinking and certainly not getting better equipped... At least MagnoliaFan released my captain for 30gc, so I now have 41gc left to fill up my warband somehow (poor Jan )... and that's even lucky, as I won two wyrdstone shard by being 2nd in the Chariot race... Though Nigel, our 3rd teammate who is currently fighting on the city board, can hopefully give us some hard hitting support with his possessed Condolence Cards may be send to Matt and me via PM. | |

| John reporting!
ON the other table, a huge brawl between the hooligans took place. There was some serious arguing about who actualy won the chariot race, and wether Pfreck victory was legit or not. What so ever, the beer helping, we ended up with Tagnator&Ezekiel's witch hunters + John's Reik on one side figthing a highly unlikely alliance (we did mentionned beer, right?). That is Nigel's possessed, Lanyssa's dwarfs (stouter than ever) and Pfreck poor Oslanders. After exiting the stadium by the 2 opposite doors (yeah the security is well planned in mordheim), the 2 armies just ran at each other. That is everybody besides Tagnator's WH that, for some reason, went after 3 isolated mutant at the opposite end of the table, leading to a merciless 3v2 where Ezekiel's ass got kicked. Really badly. 6 OOA models out of 12. Which leaded to a quick routing, and John promply followed seeing that he was left to fight about 5 possessed, 4 oslander (1 ogre..) and 6 dwarfs!
Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, a dwarf and a couple of possessed got locked out in combat for FOUR rounds with one of Tag's hound (represented by a MONKEY). Tagnator couldn't rout because he had no lost, so he had to painfully wait untill he had lost 2 models to rout, at last!
Funny fact about the game: An hurricane started on round 2, making it pretty much impossible to hit anything... really 2 buildings caught on fire in 2 rounds We had waay too much weird thing spawn on us... Thank you random events! Blunderbuss can take out your models as well as the opponent's one. Especially when you fire em straight through your warband. | |
