Hey this looks really great!
Only the colour of the soil could be a little bit darker in my opinion, or is this because of the lighting?
And a little question, how did you make the leaves lying all over the ground? Those are looking fantastic, i want some for my Forest Goblin Warband!

I understand this, but all my armies and terrain is based in the same colour (and this has been so for about 20 years now!), so it's not really an option to amend it at this stage!

It's actually the dried petals of a very tiny tree flower! you can buy it in pots here:

Excellent kitbashing. The mouldlines will still go, right?

OT: just noted that "kitbashing" has some nasty potential for funny misspelling

You know Warboss you are so good I should hate you out of pure envy. But then again you are an awesome guy so maybe I'll just let it slide...

I really really like what you are doing with your town, what a surprise. Has more work been done?

I've been slowly working on some new buildings for Wortbad!

Skullvane Manse conversion:

And the houses I showed in September last year (not a lot of progress, some but not a lot!)

I am returning to scenery making! With the new Warhammer setting Wortbad is no longer in Sylvania but has become a village in Shyish, the Realm of Death.

I've been experimenting with a faster way of painting the terrain (hopefully without lowering the finished quality too much!). I bought a can of Halfords grey primer (car paint!) and sprayed a "zenithal" highlight on a black undercoated model.

I've then been able to finish 90% of the paint job with just washes! Only metalwork and woodwork needed any additional colours.

This is a comparison with the first piece I painted for this terrain set, painted the long-winded way of brushing on the base colours!

Looks great. The New Way seems to achieve wonderful results. The door could used another wash though.

I agree - it needs some highlights as well I think. It looks a bit flat at the moment.

On my painting desk now: a Dreadfire Portal that has had the grey spray-highlight applied and I've done an initial drybrush of a lighter grey. Washes for that next!
