Just a quick question that came up in our game last night and I couldn't find any specific rules for in the books. If a charging model is using a great weapon, do they still strike first?

Check the two-handed weapon description, it clearly states they strike last even when charging.

The "great weapon / strike first when charging" thing was added with 6th edition Warhammer Fantasy... Mordheim was built around 5th edition rules, which is where you're probably getting confused.
