Thanks guys!

@Grimscull, they were originally, but I made some casts of most my scenic bits to alter them while still not entirely dry. in this case not so much, just deeper recesses between the sculls and wings. But they are lovely to add some details to the buildings, I'm on the lookout for more such items (easily recastable preferred) especially gargoyles to make everything a bit more grim, and this tower has a screaming need for such items! Smile

Wow, spent the better part of the weekend working on towers - roofing, adding details, and more roofing, and still it's so much work to do still!

Work on this crooked tower is nearly done, I just need to find some cool dormers to replicate for the small empty bits of wall, and add nuts and bolts to the metal  parts (the four turretroofs)
The sculptures on the turrets are again copied walldecorations which make for a lot of character without too much effort, even though it's 4 identical sets around the tower.
The small dormers on the one turret are copied from the small tomb in the garden of morr set.

The 3 other towers were my first building ever for my High Elf army built about 11 years ago, it stood roughly 90 cm tall, and was way to useless on the table, so I decided to cut it up and make 3 seperate towers out of it which will fill up a gametable a lot faster and might come in handy to use for the elftown bit in Marienburg.
As I didn't play many fantasy battles over the past few years I never continued working on it, but decided now would be the weekend to fix that. - far from done, I like where it's going

Those are SPECTACULAR & WONDERFULLY STRANGE! The twisted tops on the right hand Tower are FANTASTICALLY IMAGINATIVE & the outside staircase is a BEAUTIFUL accent to a VERY  IMPRESSIVE creation. I hope you can maintain your enthusiasm long enough to finish all the Towers. Each in its own way is a unique masterpiece.   thumbsup

The roofs are quite easy, it just takes a very long time to finish. you just cut out tiles (sometimes strips sometimes single ones) and glue them on working your way around in circles. and again and again and again...

So I've been working hard to finish up all my loose projects - which is a far to big and ever expanding High Elf army, -now for 9th age appearantly- But the things that are progressing best are my scenery projects.

I've finished up the elven towers and made a bit of a temple for them as well - nothing too detailed, as this will mainly be used for WHFB/9th age. I don't have pictures of that right now, but I'll see what I can do about that.

For my mordheim buildings I've created a mold in order to duplicate windows, and details. Some work fine, others are a bit too small for pouring resin in, so I may have to work with greenstuff for those.

The windows all work fine though, and this has enabled me to quickly create enough frames and shutters to work on my Castle and Tower - which are rediculously big, both in size and effort needed to finish them up, but I love the extra details since they help giving scale reference and liven up the whole thing. - it does however entail a lot more work.

So yeah, progress, but a stupendous amount of work still to be done before I can wrap up this project.

But it's oh so pretty, so it's all good. Your casting and general attention to detail is astounding!

FANTASTIC! Getting carried away with things seems to be a universal trait with Mordheimers.  Everything looks WONDERFULLY bizarre & detailed. Keep up the OUTSTANDING WORK...someday will be here before you know it!
