| Wuhu thanks boys! Great to know that this thread is catching eyes I just sat looking at the boss and noticed that the sword still was a bit... fine for an orc (even a boss) in mordheim, so i filed off the tip of the shaft/grip and added a more woody, lousy and cheap looking tip, have a look: I think it fits the theme way better than the other round, diamond-looking end of the grip! Also, here is a base i made for an orc, but which i've now decided to use for a squig: It supposed to look like a tipped-over wheelbarrow with coins (gold crowns ofc) pouring out on the ground. I might put it on a round base, but i dont know if this will work well when playing. Do you? Base sizes etc are not given beforehand, but would round bases really be feasible in game terms? | |

| As Mordheim is a skirmish game then yes, roundbases could well do. But most gamers would most likely prefer square bases in order to ahere to the rules. I like the wheelbarrow, but wouldn`t it be better with wyrdstone in it? | |

| I used round bases for a while but it only works if the whole group use them. If you intend to play with lots of random folk the sticking to square bases will save on arguments. Fungomungus: The Dwarf Cannon and Dwarf Miners kit includes wheelbarrows. | |

| LOVE the wheelbarrow; that will be a COOL base for whatever you choose to put on it...the spilled cargo could also be painted up as Wyrdstone shards...or not. The base question is one of Eternal debate; the general thing is to use the same sizes & shapes as would be used by that mini type in WHFB, which uses square bases for ease in ranking up...I'll avoid editorial commentary on this issue . | |

I totally agree.. Though round bases might look funnier, especially on squigs, the regular slotta base is what i prefer to use, and what i prefer my opponents to use I dont think it will look so good if i painted the coins like wyrdstone, cause they are kinda round and flat (just like some bases i am not going to talk about ). I also made a base for another squig with a signpost + shield from the 'walls and fences' box.

Indeed. A comparison shot with normal orcs would be nice.
