[WIP] Building of Ruins of Mordheim modular table

I started building another module, on which this time I decided to place a model of a stable and an inn, which I built from two models from the Lasercut Building.

The edges of the module are covered with plaster elements from Rotten Factory.

I built the wall of the inn with plaster elements from Rotten Factory and clay bricks bought in the Battle-Models store.

In the next step, I used gypsum putty to make paving and fill the walls of the half-timbered wall.

And I also put two lanterns on the street.

The board os progressing in fine fashion. I love the street lamp lit effect.

The penultimate step is the floors that I made from chopped coffee stirring sticks.

The street at night is a VERY evocative scene. Gaming through the dimly lit streets brings an added excitement to the adventure.

It is time for the last step, i.e. covering the roofs with shingle cut from balsa and filling the gaps with self-hardening clay.

And so, the next module is ready..

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 41.

While building the next modules of the table with the ruins of Mordheim, I completely forgot that I was supposed to make a module that would act as a central square or a market square.

And so, fairly quickly, I built the following super-planned 13th module, with the logo Mordheim in the middle.

Fragments of the ruins are plaster casts from Rotten Factory, and the resin elements of the lantern are a product of Alien Lab Miniatures, while the manhole cover was cut by a laser by Black Grom Studio.

That really does look SPLENDID!

I started building another table module with the ruins of Mordheim.

In the first step, in addition to the ruined model of the house from Lasercut Buildings, on the module I placed plaster elements from Rotten Factory molds and lanterns, which I valorised with a resin skeleton from Alien Lab Miniatures.

You certainly are a prolific modeler. The new ruins are BEAUTIFUL. The Rotten Factory bits add to the scene in fine fashion. great work1

In the second stage of building the module, I carved the pavement in plaster and completed the half-timbered wall.

The paving stones turned out Splendidly. The missing ones add to the feel of ruins. I just draw mine in the roughed up insulation foam. Plaster is something I hadn't considered. FINE PROGRESS!

It's getting better and better!

The penultimate step is to lay the floors with broken coffee sticks and fill the gaps with self-hardening clay.

The last step is the traditionally tiled roof. I cut the tiles out of balsa wood and glued them to the pine rafters.

Three more modules remain to be done.

If you compare the photos below with those published a week ago, you will notice that I have added the towers and placed a gate between them.

The city gate, like most plaster casts, was made in silicone molds from Rotten Factory.

LOOKIN' GOOD already! The gateway is really quite impressive.
