If you follow the Warheim FS Facebook fan page, you already know that I started building a modular table with the Mordheim ruins.
As a base, I used 16 square modules with dimensions of 40x40 centimeters made of plexiglass, on which I glued bricks cut from styrodur, from which I placed roughly the surface of the table. The modules themselves should allow for almost any configuration of the battlefield.
Ultimately, I want the game table inside the walls to have many levels, bridges and footbridges, unlike Teufelsberg, allowing you to use the rules that allow you to climb, jump and dive charges.
The ruins of the buildings were made of buildings models from Lasercut Buildings, the same ones that I used to build Teufelsberg.

First I'd like to say that I'm already loving this topic!
Can you go into how you came up with this plan in the first place? ...and the next steps you're planning to take?

If you follow the reviews published on the blog, you could already see Pile of Skulls from AlienLAB Miniatures, which I used to valorise the lanterns I bought on Allegro . But in the photo below, there are definitely more bits that you can use to valorize your building models.
On the other hand, gypsum elements from Rotten Factory will be perfect for the valorization of building models and will be used to cover the walls of modules.

The first module I started working on is the one with the Prussian manor from Lasercut Buildings.
Stairs cut out of styrodur lead to the dilapidated manor house, and the whole is illuminated by a few LEDs and lanterns, which I connected to the LED candles I bought on Allegro.
I thought for a long time about how to sensibly power the LEDs and lanterns placed on the modules and finally decided to try this way. We will see how it works in practice.
In the streets of the City of the Damned, there will also be manholes for sewerage, which Gonzo from Black Grom Studio made to order.
And HERE you can see the lantern and LED test on YouTube.

The next step I took was to pour the plaster on the flat surface of the streets, and when the plaster was partially bound with a thick needle, I scratched the pavement.
In a similar way, I made the floor of the basement, additionally we wove the symbol of Tzeentch, the Lord of Change, into the pavement.
The last thing that I have managed to do up to this point is to stick plaster and cork bricks to the walls, as well as plaster cast elements from Rotten Factory, as well as fragments of GW building models that I have and whose elements I have duplicated for my own use.

After working inside the ruins, it's time to take care of the outer walls.
Although I did not plan it at the beginning, after one of the conversations with Gonzo from the Black Grom Studio blog, I decided to fill the gaps between plaster and cork bricks with self-hardening clay, as well as the rest of the various holes.

Two weeks ago, on the DansE MacabrE blog, I showed you the first module of the table with the ruins of Mordheim, completed, at least at a basic level.
Today I have photos for you of the second module I was working on.
In addition to the ruined building model of the Granary from Lasercut Buildings company, the module also has a place for two towers cut from HDF by Karol and a bridge, which I built with styrodur, wooden slats, cork and plaster bricks bought in the Battle Models store.
The structural elements cast from white plaster are bits from Rotten Factory, and I have traditionally scratched the pavement in plaster putty.

You have YET ANOTHER BEAUTIFULLY crafted treasure under way. The gateway is a particularly lovely piece. OUTSTANDING WORK!

Work on the second module of the Mordheim Ruins table continues.
The next stages of work are mainly gluing gypsum and cork bricks, and then filling the space between the elements with self-hardening clay.
The half-timbered wall on the granary was made of plaster of gypsum, and the door visible in the last photo is Stone Entrances and Doors Set from SpellCrow.

The Mordheim board is coming along BEAUTIFULLY. SpellCrow does make some fantastic accessories & miniatures. The door is a fine example of their creations. OUTSTANDING WORK once more!
