Before I started working on the next planned module of the Mordheim ruins table for Warheim FS, I felt an irresistible need to build a carousel and so I started building a second, not previously planned module.
And so on the auction site I found a relatively cheap set containing the drive, which after assembly I placed in a properly cut styrodur.
I also recorded a short video presenting the operation of the mechanism, which you can find on YouTube.

This is something that I will follow with great interest. It is a WONDERFULLY imaginative idea & delightfully macarbe.

The next step was to enclose and close the module in such a way as to hide the mechanism on the one hand, and not to hinder access on the other. And so I decided to fix the plate with neodymium magnets.

The Carousel is coming along nicely. A Mordheim themed amusement park is something that had never entered my mind.

After pouring and partially drying the putty gypsum, I scratched cobblestones in it, and from the column of skulls from HQ Resin and undead horses from Mantic I started to build a merry-go-round..

Nice! That must have been quite some work to scratch in all those cobblestones! But well worth the effort!

Thank you Gatlag Stonetooth. Maybe it's a matter of practice, but it takes me no more than 3 hours to make such a cobblestone.
I built a roof of the carousel with coffee stirring sticks, to which I attached LED lanterns, and the whole thing was connected by columns made of plastic pipes braided with wire, to which I glued birch seeds imitating leaves..

I'm not really sold on the stone floor of the carousel, but the roof looks splendid!

Hmm I get what Deaf's saying. Perhaps you could try some wooden planks if it's not too much trouble? The rest of the carousel is getting together very nice!

Thanks for your comments. The floor is stone, because it must be black and white checkered.
