Really grand looking work! I think those beams are going to make all the difference when it's painted up -- making a big, imposing terrain piece seem simultaneously cramped & suffocating. Which works very well for the nightmare city of Mordheim...

So I'm uncertain whether adding crossbeams to the square tower are a positive addition to the facades, or just makes them seem too cluttered. Any suggestions?
Personally, I'd do without them. The spacing is just too narrow. If you'd maybe an extra eighth of an inch in there it'd work. Amazing stuff, keep up the great work!!

I'd also like to know how the card is going to be surfaced -- it's something I've worried about on some of my own scenery projects, & it'd be nice to hear from someone frankly more advanced than me.

Thank you all for the replies! Regrettably, I realized soon after my previous post that I had lied. I still needed to do most of the roof ridges. I will have this corrected shortly!
@Leavhon: That is one of my favourite games! Any resemblance is unintentional, though perhaps I could have subconsciously been influenced...
@Codsticker, @Rhydderch: Thank you for your question! My intention is to have them plastered like the rest of the vertical cardboard surfaces. I think both the daub and stone walls would have been covered with the same whitewash to make them more weather resistant. However, I still have some bare stone surfaces to give the piece more variation in colour and texture.
Wow, impressive how accurate and precise u are working. Like everything is in shape to the smallest angle. Hell allot of concentration in there. I couldn't do that, I'm not that patient. What a tidy house, I can't wait to see it painted!!!

Thanks everyone! So... I may have been working on another building instead of finishing the tower...
And it has this particular shape because it fits quite well with the tower:
The building has two balconies connected by a small hallway. Other buildings fit neatly on either side, so this one can also be used to create curved streets. To make sure I can easily paint a room inside a building, I make a small box that fits within the building when folded up. I can then cover the walls inside and paint them when the box is unfolded.

"Instead of finishing one thing, I started another" -- all wargamers everywhere, forever.
The new building's another fine looking piece, & a worthy companion to the tower. & that's an ingenious way of building interiors for painting, which I admire & am probably too lazy to do myself. I salute your effort!

Oh my, that's a monster! & a damned good looking one too. Must've taken a mighty architect or a powerful wizard to keep that thing up in normal times, even before the comet struck the city...

Is anything finished yet? Certainly not, but a lot of stuff is inching ever closer towards completion!
Put some paint on the larger ruin:
And the GW Chapel:
Triangular building is nearly done!
And I finished the stairs on the tower and added a flag (and some paint as well):
Still need to find something good for on top of the flag pole, add a handrail to the stone staircase and a bunch of weathering and details, but it's getting there!

VERY NICELY DONE, ONE & ALL! The tower is particularly impressive.

Beautiful work, I have to say I absolutely love the triangular house: it’s one of my objectives to make oddly-shaped buildings, as it makes for a much more immersive table. Keep up the great work!
