Great Forum first of all. I've taken it's advice and judgement 100 times but almost always during games so I've never had time to sign-up or contribute. Thanks for all your help so far.

I've played tons of Games Workshop stuff but I think Mordheim is my favorite. I prefer human gangs. Their range of weaponry makes them the most fun IMO.

My best gang is Ostlanders (rating: 497). Their Priest is well XP'd despite an Old Battle Wound.

Just checked out your site..... The Red Brotherhood look wicked and I always prefer Warhammer Fantasy models but that Terminator Sgt. takes home the gold IMO!

Thanks...glad you liked my stuff. I must admit that I don't care much for Space Marines, but they seem to be The Thing folks ask me to paint for them; the Space Hulk Guys were for Mordheimer.

How is the Hobby Shop situation over in China?

hobby shop situation is pretty poor as far as I can tell, and starting your own requires a Chinese partner to own half ot it!

there is a games workshop in shanghai i think and there's a community budding from the internet, they also make tons of cheap recasts on "taobao" which is their version of ebay ... dont think GW will win the property rights war over here lol

Update on the Hobby shop situation in China ...

I no longer have an excuse for not making terrain ... there's a neighburhood full of art craft and stuff shop ...

blue foam, balsa, "plasticard" rods, acrylic paints to the gazooo

now i just need to figure out where to set up a workspace in my dad's apartment ... *cough* more excuses

there's also a sort of chinese warhammer club (which is actually the base of a *taobao* aka ebay shop but aparently has a couple gaming tables and perhaps an area to paint and store stuff)!

strange how work is becoming less of a priority suddenly ... is all your fault

Hi, im new but i have been reading the forum for about a year now, and never thought to join

Somthing about myself: Ginger and proud and I collect orks/orcs, as there really nice to paint.
I first joined the hobby when I was 8 or 9 with space marines... But mordiem has always appealed, as i am a MEGA cheap-scate. All my mates by from GW (always!!!) but i like other mini companys : some of them are genius ideas.

As far as the achievement thingy goes...your guess is as good as mine. It's an option that has thus far only been used for the Golden Tom Awards. SO you'd have to wait for the next one...sometime after Tom finishes his Thesis for his Doctorate.
