Well, as a Canadian, and a Hockey fan (we are born with sticks in our hands) i can relate to Swedish artistry. especially on the ice. The former captain of my favorite team, Mats Sundin, will be a legend in my home town forever.

we got a whole smorgasbord of fun material on swedish delights. ikea, meatballs the swedish chef and mats sundin (and some other pro-hockey players)!

(smorgasbord = smörgåsbord, i dont know any other words that are taken from swedish to english but its a nice one )

so our quest of swe influence around the world is soon complete!

Hi Guys!

I'm Thomas from Germany, 28 years old.
I've been playing GW games from the early teens until I realised there is more out there. For the last 8 years I have not touched a GW mini (although I love most of them), instead I've been painting and playing historicals. Ancients, WW2, Vietnam, you name it, I've put paint on...

But now my only gaming buddy has gone back to pure GW and I talked him into Mordheim (as its the only Game from said Company I'm willing to play)
Browsing the web, I found your forum, which seems to be a nice place full of inspiration and help!

I'm looking forward to some nice discussions....

Hello everone,

I'm Travis, I live in Eugene Oregon and am 20 years old. I've been playing GW games for about a year now, but only just this month started Mordheim (Despite being interested in it for a while, the people in my area are just picking it up again).

I'm starting both a Clan Pestilens skaven warband and a Carnival of Chaos warband, since they both look cool.

Looking cool IS to my mind, such as it is, the BEST reason for doing up a War Band. SO...WELCOME ABOARD Fearless Leader Tom's But Cool Nonetheless Mordheim Forum. Have a LONG & MERRY stay.

Well, I was looking for some good info on Mordheim and happened accross this forum. Glad to see that there are Mordheim dedicated ones. My gaming group is going to TRY to get some Mordheim action going again (we always seem to just give up...I don't think that we have EVER finished a single campaign - be it WFB or Mordheim).

Anywho...excited to have found this forum! I've been playing Warhammer for 13-ish years and Mordheim ever since it came out! I'm sure I'll learn quite a bit here, though!

Hi to all, thought i'd say hello as i've recently joined this forum, and well done all for making it a very interesting one. i've been playing Mordheim since it first came out and have amassed 17 warbands so far, seems i'm better at buyng and building than painting though as only about 75 % are finnished the rest i have to use unpainted but i'm working on it

17 Warbands?? Wow! Which ones? And more importantly: Show 'em!!

You asked so here is the list:-
pit fighters x2, Middenheimers, beastmen, skaven, undead x2 (one of these has lost it's bite shall we say and i keep em for sentimentle reasons), bushi goblins(based on skaven stats), rackham orcs, gaels , sidhe elves, khemri tomb kings, griffin templars, marienburgers, marauders, cimmerians (i know its not a warhammer theme but hey conan is the man so i had to have some and Reaper do some awesome barbarian minis), dark elves. Lukily my wife is very understanding.
i also have minis for Alchemists, wolfen, sessair kelts, drune kelts, devourers and lions of alahan from rackham but i'm not sure how i can use them in Mordheim so i just paint em for fun. As you can see i am a bit of a shoppa holic with this stuff and i wont even go into my 40k armies, i wil endeavor to get some pics on the forum for you guys in the near future
