Big Toof II--Da Hag'z Tower
A variant of Enter the Necromancer's Tower (NunoM's version)

Da rumor iz da Hag Shebang ain't been seen fer a bit, see?  Dat mean her cave an da rock tower above it be empty...  But maybe Shebang left some shiny, hey?  Sure she did, ye just got to claim it...

Now Shebang she left but she left her wards up, see?  An' dat little git, Luc Eee, dat snot she'z got doin' fer her, he runnin' around wit da key ta da treasure...  Seem he drunk dis potion so'z ye cain't see 'im too good.  Like, he not dere, see?

Very first thing dat happen iz dis event--Da Red Skullz Raidaz!  Dem gitz enter right between da Savages an' da Gutrippaz. Dey lookin' fer dere little lost mule (wot dey stole from some Humyz).  
Guess who dey head fer?


Savages.  Doze 4 onna rock are shootin' at da Gutrippaz. Kill Smart Reg. Gitz!


Gutrippaz turn 2.  In turn 1 Falgon fail da animosity, attack da last of da Gutrippaz' gobbo.  Rigga Top fail da animosity (but re-roll [Rabbit'z Foot] dat fail 'cause it first turn and Flagon iz already messing things up.)  So turn 2, Rigga fail again and gets all I'll show 'em on da Red Skullz.  Joy.

So da Gutrippaz lose Mr. Boom an' Da Headtaker to da White Shaman an' legz it.  Smart Reg da Halberdier die.  Mr Boom get better.  Da Headtaker fight da Pit Fight.  
Da Gutrippaz find da wrecked wagon, but it too late inna campaign ta build da chariot, so dey sellz it fer partz.
Da Theef an' da Gobbo Pyrate loot 3 out of the 4 Red Skullz wot die.  So da Gutrippaz make payroll an' buy some nice shiny stuff.

Da Savages be all nice and fluffy an' give up right before da store close so da Shakyz winz a game!  None of da Savage gitz die.

Da Bosses and dere warbands haz travelled ta da Cave o' da Four Windz as Gork and Mork  have  sent da Shamans duppy dreams to  prod the warbands to leave Big Toof ta search fer da Ax Inna Stone.  "Fer 'e wot draw fort' da Ax from da Stone wil beez da Boss o' Bosses."

Sparky II iz kilt ded.  So iz Da Smell V, who wuz a Ladz got Talent Boar Ridin' hero.  A Gobbo name of Red Toof One o' Three wuz kilt, too.  Boss Facerippa claim da Freezin' Eye, a Minor Artifact.

Da Savage lose, like, three boyz.  Dere Boss started as far from da Cave as 'e could, an' never even getz inside.  Claim dat da Facerippa an' da Grootka wudda kilt 'im if 'e had, 'cause 'e a weedy git.  A Boar Rida go out of action, but get betta.

Boss Grootka pull da Battle Ax o' da Last Waaagh from da Stone.  Grootka DA ORK now.  He gotz TWO o' da Artsyfactz o' da True Git an' e' ded killy.

Ded Eye (da best orc boy ever) wuz rubbed out by hiz mate Backstabba... Da Gutrippaz winz.  Da Big Ape (ogre bodyguard) returns a favor and works for free for this fight.

So its getting to the end.  The Shakyz are broken to pieces.  They have lost 5 heroes over the course of the campaign, plus have only won 5 games total out of LOTZ played.

Da Gutrippaz have two out of 4 of the Artsyfactz o' da One True Git an' have been da High Rated Warband for da last couple of weeks.

Next week we wrap it up wit DA VALLEY o' DA GIANTZ!

The story line is getting more interesting as you go along. GREAT STUFF!

This looks like it was a great game -- & I have to admit, I'm a little pleased to see the Dice Gods favouring the vividly coloured Boss Grootka!

Am I right in thinking the cave opening worked as a portal to one of six random caves? & that a six took you to the axe, while a one dumped you with a troll?

Looking forward to seeing Da Valleyo' da Giantz -- sounds pretty epic!

Yes you are. Each room had a test to pass. The Troll was the hardest, but no one rolled a one...

Da Savages race da Gutrippaz to a hidden stash on the outskirts of Big Toof.  (Actually their infiltrators got the treasure on the first turn.)  Then one of the gitz shot Mr. Boom off hiz boar (and out of the game).  Then da Big Ape got stabbed, den da good halberdier, den Nameless... It were looking dark.

Den Cookie an' Boss Grootka charged.

Da Savages got suborn with lotz of henchies ooa an' da White Boss an' da White Shaman.  Anywayz da Savages fight until dey roll dat 11, wit like 2 warriors left an' a Witch.  Five Henchies an' da Mean Warlock die.  Da White Boss an' da White Shaman go Stoopid.

Mr Boom go Stoopid too.  An' hiz boar an' da good halberdier die.  Gutrippaz get rich.  Hire another good halberdier an' a Mad Bomma!

So since da Savages wrecked da Shakyz an' da Gutrippaz wreck da Savages (both dey warbands in da 300s.  Gutrippaz at 505),  da plot change.  

Da Gutrippaz get lured ta da Valley o' da Giantz wit tales of da last Artyfact o' da True Git.  Some Giant gots it, dey sez.  Really da Savages an' da Shakyz done bribed dese Giantz ta bash da Gutrippaz.

OUTSTANDING! There were a mere handful of white blobs amid a sea of GLORIOUS terrain AND BEAUTIFUL miniatures...there were some really SPLENDID pieces in the mix. The Giants were VERY IMPRESSIVE. GREAT STUFF! VERY WELL DONE! BRAVO!

A pretty epic battle there! Also, very impressive to see a hero reaching 83xp -- I wondered what that third line of boxes was for, & now I know! & warband ratings shifting by 70 points at a time... This has been a very big campaign hasn't it?

@Rhydderch--Huge! We play 20+ games per warband regularly. It is a big deal when a warband leader can get to 90 in our group, but it happens fairly often. (Not this time round, but Grootka got close...)
