| Looks fantastic! Is the body of the cavern expanding foam? | |

| The cavern is made of carved styrofoam (PS) boards. Actually, my trick is to pour a few drops of acetone on the styrofoam (beware, this is dangerous so if you want to try this technique, do it at your own risk and in a well ventilated area with respiratory mask + nitrile gloves). The acetone will dissolve the styrofoam and make stalactite-like shapes.

| It does look like it's going to be amazing, so... time will be well spent! & like Codsticker said, once you get another section done you're half-way there, & it won't be so bad! | |

| So yes, I decided that the cavern needed some lightings. And thus, I went on the web looking how to install LED lightnings. I choose blue and red LED because I wanted to have a lugubrious unnatural atmosphere for this cavern that will be underneath the graveyard. Sounds very Mordheim to me ^^ I also took a video of the table but I didn't find an easy way to insert it here so I will post it on the facebook page if you want to see it. I know it's hard to imagine the final effect, but what do you think of the LED colors? Kibo | |

| The lighting is a SPECTACULAR effect. It will be even more so when everything is painted up. OUTSTANDING WORK! | |

Kibo I really like the golden lights in the underground part- it looks like lantern light. If I am really honest, the red and blue lights strike me as a bit SciFi. Green would certainly be appropriate though .

I see your point with the blue and red leds but unfortunately the green leds I had where not powerfull enough (very pale green light). On the other hand, I think the intensity of the red and blue will be attenuated when the whole thing will be painted. I think it will be darker and more sublte. Kibo

| Impressive work! I certainly think the red lights will work, especially when they're shining on dark stone -- I'm less sure about the blue, but it might just work! It'll definitely have an unnatural effect. | |

| Quick update today about the painting of the cavern underneath the graveyard. I went with a dark yellow color which I thought would be a good compromise to keep the cavern dark but not too much. With the LED lightnings on, this looks a little bit awkward but that's exactly the kind of feelings I imagine one Mordheimer would feel exploring this damned city. Kibo | |

| I worked on the module with the Basilica. For those who remember one of my initial post about the Kits & Bits I had selected for the Malval table, the Basilica will be based on the Roman ruined church kit from Fenryll. There will be also a secret access to the cavern underneath, leading to the graveyard. More on this later I still haven't decided what color to paint the Basilica. Should I stay with the same color? or should I go with something a little bit different than the other buildings? Kibo | |

| That looks very promising. As it seems to be a special building I would go with a different colour-I think my temptation would be white (or nearly white). If you want it to look like it was intended to be an imposing structure than maybe a very dark grey, nearly black. | |

| I'd say stick with the same colours on the outside of the building (with ruins it's all outside, but you know what I mean) to tie it all together, but go for something much brighter on the internal areas. Probably white, maybe with some decoration -- or faded gold if you wanted to try a more Russian Orthodox feel.
Great looking piece already though, even without paint.

| I'm still unsure about the colors for the Basilica so I'll postpone this for later... Anyway, nothing new nor fancy today, but I finally painted all the buildings of the three remaining modules. I strictly followed the same color scheme than for the buildings of the first module and I'm very happy because there is virtually no difference between them. Kibo | |

| I had this GW Wizard tower in stock for more than 3 years now and frankly I thought I would never use it. Hopefully this Mordheim project is the perfect excuse to paint it and play it. I was a quite disappointed because the gluing of this kit was horrible but the details and the overall look makes for it ten times. Kibo | |

| The tower does look rather nice. All the skulls make it look G.W.. The overall effect is very suitabble for Mordheim. SPLENDID WORK! | |

| The painting continues and now it's time to work on the Graveyard and Basilica. I really like how everything is coming together but when I think to all I still have to do, it can be overwhelming at times... Kibo | |
