| That is excellent use of the Bolt Action buildings. I have similar plans for them. | |

| Thanks. The only issue with them is that the doorways are quite small. Otherwise, they are a dream to work with and lend themselves to a lot of different configurations. | |

What are the houses made of? The buildings that look like brick/stone are the Ruined Hamlet series by Warlord Games. The keep is a tower from the old Warhammer Castle. The smithy is the Ramshackle Barn by Renedra. The other buildings are made from plasticard or foamboard. The manor house in my last post is a kit from Plastcraft which I butchered to make a ruin. The red house is made from the left overs. These kits are cheap and fairly basic but lovely to work with because of the soft, thick plasticard used. I highly recommend them. [the eagle-eyed among you may note the red box of Citadel paints in the background. I bought this in 1996 and a few of the paints are still going strong. GW made good paint in those days!] I've tried to use pieces form the original Mordheim buildings such as windows, doorways and brick corners to maintain a Mordheimy feel.

| Thanks for naming the manufacturers, I will have a look myself. You turned them into really nice buildings with a Mordheim-flair due to all the details and such. | |

| I didn't know that range from warlord games. I've been oogling the ramshackle barn for a while now but never seen a picture outside their website. Now I'm pretty certain I'll buy it sometime.
You've made very nice scenery! cheers

You've made very nice scenery! cheers Thanks. The barn is a very good piece. It also comes with a lean-to which I used to make the top part of my "Guard House". You'll probably end up with a lot of spare tiled roof too, which I used on other buildings. The only down side of the building is that the walls are only detailed on one side. The inside is bare plastic. Here's a couple more buildings A ruined house (based on one of the original Mordheim models) A Temple of Sigmar (now re-purposed by a more sinister cult) This one sits on a raised platform and I need to build some stairs for it!
