| Udaman, Widgren. There are many details to like, but the roof tiles are IMO the best! Splendid! | |

| thanks deathnala, folketsfiende and cianty!
cianty: i used your roof painting technique and i must say that i really like the outcome. it was your request for wip-pics of them that spurred me to finish them. thanks:)
the techniques i used on these are very simple. some take some time but they are not hard to do. the forthcoming write-up will show, step by step. | |

| Glad you found the roof tut useful. I know Per used it on his church (and tower?) too. I don't think you can overrate the importance of a proper roof paint job. A boring plain roof will degrate the entire building, no matter how pretty the walls are. The roof simply stands above all - literally. Now for some constructive criticism (on a high level): The shingles are obviously made of paper, which is cool and I will do the same once I get around to do some scratch-building. The problem I see with them though is that unlike high quality resin buildings like the Tabletop World stuff or that Innfamous Wolf they don't have any structure to them, which makes the shingles very "flat". The Forge World buildings suffer from the same lack of detail but their shingles are a bit thicker so it's slightly less obvious. You could try to paint some very thin vertical stripes on the shingles to make them appear more structured. I think a more aggressive drybrush could also help to make the shingles look more textured. Did you use cereal boxes for the shingles? And if so, did you use the outer glossy flat surface or the rougher inner side for the roof? Again, this is some minor nit-picking on a high level. I really love your paint job! | |

| cianty: the shingles are made from card stock of approximately the sam thickness as ceral box card. yes, i could add lines and i will try it out on another roof first:) shingles are rather thin and smooth so if it doesnt work with lines, ill still be happy:) | |

| What colours did you use for the walls? I really like the tone. Ignore this if your tutorial will cover colour choices. | |

| These are very sexy, I hope you give us some other angles in your tutorial. Seeing buildings like this make me want to build more buildings. The small building on the right has once again affirmed for me that just because you are playing mordheim not all your buildings need to be ruins. I have been considering this more and plan to add a few boarded up and abandoned buildings here and there. | |

| I have one huge issue with your work... I don't like the rest of your gaming table, it's too black....and flat.... also, that was a joke. Here is the part that isn't a joke: | |

| figgy: that is true. its a tad black:) the only good thing about that gamingtable is that it is not my gaming table:) i play with mr. jorisch and he bought one of those lovely GW realm of battle boards for easy storage and assembly. it will look great when done but that is for the future to witness:) i have a day off today and will start writing on the tut. | |
