| ya know DN, I'm not easily making the call between the good and bad mushrooms (and that's how it should be, relatively speaking ), but what a treat to see the mushroom forest board / backdrop too! Fabulous. | |

| Thanks for the reply, Harrocks. I am glad you like it. The Mushroom Forest stage has gotten very little use after the Spooky Woods was made. I am glad you like it. The background Mushrooms were fun to do. The Big Mushroom initially was mounted on the board. I made him a free standing piece to make more room for photos. | |

| This past weekend, in addition to doing sixty or seventy small(er) mushrooms, I dismantled The Blight board; re, it was not going to get done as it stood & had limited photographic uses. SO I now have a bunch of buildings that will be rebased & repurposed. The two pretty much finished ones are getting new bases right away: This is S. White's Consortium House: The little shed is where the Leprechaun's Owl lives: This is the Liche's House from the side: It has some interior detailing: AND occupants: Things are developing. | |

| I've kind of caught the tail-ends of your 'blight board' saga on LAF without really being clued in - so a shame it's ended in a cul-de-sac, but those buildings are just ... fabulous. There's no other word, in every sense. looking forward to seeing your re-purposing. I wish a) you were in the UK and b) you allowed guided tours around your gaffe | |

| The board was originally going to be part of the Mordheim boards I made for my erstwhile friend, Mack, just before I moved here in 2010. SO after eight years & still in the works, although mostly built, I called it a bust. I think that all the buildings will get done now. Living in Great Britain would be wonderful...especially during the Trump administration/affliction. I have invited numerous folks to stop by & see my stuff, but no takers other than those brought over by Neighbor Tom. If you ever find yourself in the Austin area, you will have to stop by, Harrocks. | |

| Be careful DN - I've got a cousin living in Austin!! but not much chance of a visit tbh one thing I love about your buildings now you've mentioned Mordheim, is that they're the 'right' scale - not being modelling-tastic myself, I've had an ongoing dialogue with various suppliers of MDF kits etc as to whether they could supply 'bigged-up' versions of their wares, but it's too difficult apparently, even in these soft-wared days. I did kind of sort things, buy buying up rather a large number of german made kid's constructions toys (forget the make at this point) which are more the kind of size - although they'd need a lot of embellishing to look 'fantastical' etc - not sure I'll ever get 'round to doing it ... I have all the original cardboard GW buildings tho' ... as per old Trumpy-baby - not sure you'd find it much better here these days. | |

| I'm about an hour West of Austin if there is a family reunion in the cards. I made the floor to ceiling height large enough that I could get my hand inside. It's more convenience than scale. | |

| SO I did some work on the Mushroom Box. There are 60+ new small mushrooms & the more personable Mushrooms have received green stuff attention: AND one of the Mushrooms is now a finished sculpt: Two more were completed after the pics were taken. They will show up eventually. | |

| I was looking at all the Mushrooms I have inhabiting cases & lurking i storage. I could fill a nice size gaming board with all the stuff. I will have to do a mass photo someday. Thanks for the reply, Codsticker. | |

| When I reluctantly called it a day last night, this is where the Mushroom Box stood: The four latest additions: AND the day stretches out before us...so to speak. | |
