Maudeheim & Environs, Part III: Updated 06/14/20

I finished the last of the little mushrooms. SO before I base them up & send them off, I thought one last set of Group Photos might be in order:

Thanks, Codsticker. This is actually one of my smaller Group Photos. They make up for numbers with a higher degree of gaudy silliness.

Things have been moving slowly, but moving nonetheless. Here is where we are with the basing:




A couple of Dark Hold Goblin Monks have volunteered to add some character to the bases.
It is rumored they are hoping to be on the out of country bases...I promise not to mention The Donald as the reason:


AND a couple of plumber's epoxy putty bases ready for sand & stuff:


Until whenever.

Just catching up. All I can say is, like. OH WOW, man...

Thanks, Jim. I have progressed on the Mushrooms, added a few more to paint, & complete a few bases. I'll take some photos soon.

This batch of Mushrooms is pretty well finished. I never did do the Dark Hold Monks & there are a couple of Fellows that will be based on other projects. Some of these are destined for trips to other Folk & some are in need of homes:




I will do individual photos & a couple of Group Portraits with most all of the Mushroom I currently have kicking around later today or tomorrow.

Thank you, Codsticker. I am happy you like them. I took a few dozen photos of varying quality of the Guys & all the Mushrooms I still have hanging around. There will be more photos tomorrow...when I figure out how I want to post them.

Always a pleasure to see the results of your madness -- & what results they are! I really like the colour on this crowd, the brightness & variety, & those delicacies of shading that gives the colour proper depth. Great stuff!

As I plod along with The Rhino, there seems to be a new batch of Mushrooms growing in The Box:




I'm not sure about The World, but they have taken over my life...such as it is.

To add an extra touch of whimsy a.k.a. silliness to the Mushroom, I made a few more Faerie Goblins:




Now that the green stuff has cured, I removed the sheet plastic & did a black wash over the trio.
