The Gangs of Maudeheim, Part I 01/06/19

After all the Mushrooms, I am back working on the Rhino:






Coming along oh-so-slowly.

The back armor is now done less some embellishment:






My friend, Tobias, sent me a Durer Rhino made by Fenris. It is a very cool, but tiny piece. You can see the size in comparison to The Rhino:


I have some surrealistic ideas for this Little Guy.  

I hope Dammit passed the exam.

+1 to the Goblin Guard

Damnit did just fine, but we have to bring him back on the 18th to have his teeth cleaned & a little mole removed.

A healthy Dammit, a tiny Durer, & rapid progress on a rhino's back armour... Business as usual in the forum.

I am sure I will add some little touches to The Rhino, but, for now, the green stuff work is done:

SO The Rhino's base is painted & his flesh tone applied. I did some green stuff touch up & added three Reaper 03797 Vultures in lieu of the Tickbird:

As I am plodding along with The Big Guy, I have a few other thing on the back burners.

Progress has been halting at best; a vicious combination of annoying chores & a case of the blahs did their thing.
I did start on the painting though. One side has the base colors:


The other gives a hint as to where this is going:

Thanks for the reply, Rhydderch. One of the things I have noticed is that completing a difficult piece tends to produce a wonderful euphoric feeling...everything has a payoff. I am glad you like the progress.

Good beginning despite the impediments

I finally based up the Wyrd Lucky Effigy miniature that I finished awhile ago.
Zooming in on the Little Guy:








I imagine him lurking at the entrance to some dark alley, offering his wares for sale to the passersby.
It might make for an interesting random encounter...or not.

I finished up a pair of Dark Hold Goblin Monks. These Little (a towering 10 mm tall) Fellows will appear in the background of some larger pieces eventually for an added touch of weirdness/whimsy:
