Thanks, Ben...glad you like him. The cowl & the shoes are definitely Jester's garb, but, as is my nature, I couldn't leave well enough alone. SO, I added the loops to the bow...



Then I was looking at the filigree on the Doppel Soldats' armor & the nice, plain, unadorned plate armor on Froggy's abdomen, & a jar of bead's that I use for eyes, AND Froggy now has a face on his abdominal armor...







...does that freak you out or what?  

Colour really brings them to life. Can't wait to see the Freelancer painted.

Thanks for the reply, Devilish! Much as I like the white over black base coat, they do look much better in full color. I seem to be picking up speed; SO it shouldn't be all that long until they are all painted..I hope.

I'm going to do him up in bluish steel/gun metal color with glowing non metallic eyes. That ought to add to the door knocker look.

Thanks, lordlucan! Not that you mention it, there should be a test to see if you doubt your senses with Froggy.  

SO...in a rare focused spell, I managed to finish the Mercenary Engineer/Crossbowdwarf AND Froggimodo. AND HERE THEY ARE FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT & EDIFICATION:

It's GOOD to see you, dwi...so to speak! I'm glad you like the stuff. I figure I've been at it long enough that I'm starting to get the hang of things...kind of.  

So often when looking at this thread, I'm not sure whats happening, but I know I like it. All your stuff is always so quirky. I love the Frog man, reminds me of a lot of the art in the rule book.

Thanks, whiskeytango. As I do the pieces a story seems to unfold, but it doesn't have to be the same story for any of the viewers...you get to make it up for yourself. It is a bizarre tale though. All that aside, I'm glad you like it. 
You're right; some of the stuff reminds me of the margin art from The Rule Book...among other things.

Thanks, Jim. AND right you are; the Fuzzy Fellow has been universally ignored. Since the Froggy One is much more of a personal creation, it's rather gratifying &, quite frankly, unexpected. Could the Vertically Challenged Ones being heading down the Elfin Unpopularity Path?
