Well I liked him but he didn't like kids so he had to go.   He moved in with a little old lady in a townhouse- perfect!

That seems to have been a good ending to the story. We Old Folk need companions.

Yes, they were in love.

Yesterday I finished Desperate Housewife #2, Tante Lulu, took photos, touched up, & took some more photos.
All that aside, here's how the Girl turned out:

I decided to take more W.I.P. photos in the interest of spotting the odd Homeric nod before I do the spray finish.
In this case the Henchman's right eye will get a touch up:

I think photos, especially close ups, sometimes accentuate certain things that you don't notice in hand; I think it is the flattening effect that photographs have on the subject.

I was of the opinion that my Camera of Continual Contrariness was demonically possessed. Now, however, I've found than giving her fresh batteries has improved her disposition, although she still doesn't take photos of females as well as she does the males.
Blowing the miniature up to several times it's actual size makes for a fact/flaw finding experience. The flattening is another good reason. Doing the in stage photos works to eliminate some of the miscues. It's better to find them before the finished product pics hit the fora.
I have more photos of the Old Knight & Henchman from quitting time yesterday to post. I just have to load them up on PhotoBucket.

Great work DN. Seeing them in front of the mushrooms makes me realise how big those mushrooms are. That would be a scary forest!

I put the size check mini in just to show how big the Girl is...about Ogre size. The Mushrooms made her seem smaller.
My stuff is getting rather creepier as I go along. I thinks I've reached a point where I have to be careful who I show it to or risk a visit to the Nut House.

If I haven't mentioned it in a while--the skinny shrooms are pretty cool!

The Scarry Lady reminds me of one of the Hag types from my AD&D days.

The Scary Lady's base got a touch of color:

I used crimp beads for these Guys' eye. This is a first for this bead typee; looks pretty decent, eh?

Lol... the Scary Lady's large mushroom looks a smidge like my mother in law (God rest her soul).

...I could name it after her. Somehow that doesn't seem proper, but what the heck.
