Floedebolle goes Froudissimo!

So senores, more updates on the goblin:

Recieved Monstermakers Foamlatex the other day, and, having allready build the mold, i went straight for casting up the first foamhead.
BUT, i have to tell you that it is most essential to first try abit, to figure out how the foam works in your own environment. Will say this tricky mister is super touchy concerning humidity, room temp. and thousand other things.
First head came only in half, cause the foam collapsed inside the mold, BUT this one i use now to try out paint, hairpatching etc.:




So, the second one i just demolded today, between regular work, was in oven for 5 h,
here is the delighted outcome:

I love Brian Froud too, im not an expert but at home we had, since i was child, one book with his illustration (il libro delle fate - Faeries book) and i always been attracted to it, sooo beautiful ! Of course love Labyrinth too

am super busy at work at the moment, tons of new pics to post, but no time, SO, what i do have for you is a customer comission, a gargoyle that will sit on top of a roman pillar that i´ve made.
Will make a mold and cast it in gesso alabaster.Wings soon.

The Stone Guy looks bored with life on a pedestal. What a COOL creation! From a comparison to the sculpting tool he's a pretty big piece. GREAT & IMAGINATIVE WORK!

 As a reference, do you see the sculpting tool by the Gargoyle? That is 6 1/2" or 165 mm long...I use the same tool. That should give you an idea of size.  

oh, thanks for your help al, totaly forgot about that, but hej, do you see the black and white squares? One square is one cm, thats how you get a n idea how big the gargy is.
