Living(sh)rooms by floedebolle

Hallo out there, lovers of shrooms and mushes, here we are again, and this time i bring to you : SHROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMS!
One particular living(sh)room came to life the last week, and i would like to share it with my beloved comrades in mordheim:

Really cool! What material did you use for the shroom, looks like some kind of clay...?

That is one seriously BIG Mushroom...& VERY COOL! The little window on the side is a GREAT touch. VERY WELL DONE!

Now, though, I'm going to have to add some details to my larger mushrooms...thanks for the push...I think.

the material is papier maché , i just bought a handful of them at my local hobbystore.
then i started to customize it, and today i managed to prepare 5 more, in different sizes, though i had to stretch some of them to get various lookings. Stay tuned, floedebolle

I love it my friend! It is just so darn cute...All it needs now are some smurfs!

Seriously, that mushroom makes for some amazing terrain piece especially for a goblin themed army. I agree with DeafNala. The window is a nice touch and it offers a point of reference in terms of scale but what I love more is the "baby back ribs" hanging and waiting to be cured is some goblin sauce! I can just imagine goblins and snotlings having a grand time there.

I cant wait to see more and maybe a community shot of all the mushroom villas.

you buy papier maché? I just use old news papers and wallpaper paste


nonetheless.. a very nice mushroom!

@ bernhardt: well, now comes the best, i dont made the one shown myself, i mean the base shroom, i bought it that way, made of papier maché , the whole thingy, i just hd to prime it, add some details here and there, and then got to the paintjob.
the new ones are a bit more worked on, stretched them, and so on...... you will see!

VERY COOL! It's nice to know I'm not the only STRANGE Mushroom Guy on the forum...or elsewhere. They both have a certain bizarre charm to them...the one with the portrait is slightly stranger. GREAT sculpting & brushwork...VERY WELL DONE!
