Floedebolle´s Undead Warband GD Winner painted!

Hola senoras y senores, hoy es el dia where i finalmente can present the nicest warband i´ve ever came to own arrived , and believe me, i behaved like a little child opening its christmas presents!
The bases i made myself, and i glued the minis on, rest is the fabulous work of a pro, former rackham staff painter Martin Grandbarbe. They have one thing in common, all are citadel minis, from different periods.

I spotted these Guys over on C.M.o.N. earlier this week. They are an INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL & UBERCOOL War Band; that is indeed a VERY professional paint job AND your bases match the quality if the brushwork. CONGRATULATIONS...win or lose, these will be a pleasure to field.

You could mention the painter's name & maybe provide a link; if he gets more business through you, you might get a discount next time.

Hats off to Mssr. Martin Grandbarbe for doing such a wonderful job and kudos to you as well for doing an amzing job on the base work.
My personal favorite would have to be the stooping old guy... he is very characterful. I wish I could get my hands on one (sigh!).

Those "undead guys" are such a visual treat and I am pretty certain that they shall serve you well... if you feed them properly...

Luthor is actually the only model of the bunch I've seen before. What did they get on CMON?
Those six-sided bases are a nice idea, great compromise for a skirmish, I believe.

Hej guys, thanks again, glad that you like them! Today is the day, we are going to play a empire in flames scenario, with a tower in the middle, surrounded by a forest of mushrooms!
will take photos of their first skirmish out from the graves, and of course will post that in the weekend, stay tuned!
@ grimscull: he showed only the vampire, zombies and 2 or 3 others on cmon, but they only rated them 7 max or so, a shame!

Scandalous! That is one of the finest warbands I have seen! It is fun to try and recognize the different miniatures, so far I have recognized one of the necromancers, Luthor, a ghoul and the good old heroquest zombie!

Seriously this is a fantastic warband and a great selection of Citadel history!

Risking a repeat of what others have stated, these all look great, and the entire warband has a very cool feel to it. I can definitely see why they were the ones to be chosen as best painted.

Excellent stuff! They're all favourites, can't singel out anyone of them. As for CMON ratings, CMON raters are a strange bunch. Not much to do about that, except voting differently yourself.

Crazy collection of models, some of those are incredibly rare, aren't they?

Amazing painting too, although the Ghouls are a little too Greenskinned for my liking

Hej guys, today i recieved some nice oics of the recently finished work for my " ogre" mercenary for those grave villians, well, and here he is, enjoy!

The Big Guy may very well be the centerpiece of an OUTSTANDING Living Impaired War Band. The WONDERFUL mini is the recipient of an equally wonderful paint job & a BEAUTIFUL base. To all concerned VERY WELL DONE!   

I call this ogre dog face.

It is a fine paint job, although the fur on the back comes not right in this picture. The skin on the other hand is beyond awesome

I am looking forward to see him in reality.

Oh gosh, how I would like to hate you if you weren't such a nice guy!!

The ogre is incredible! The face, the whole conversion, the base and obviously the glorious paintjob. All amazing!

@joaos: its not a conversion but an super old asgaard troll chieftain, you can find a maybe jhon blanche painted one in the book called " Heroes for Wargaming", great book though, its worth to buy, awesome oldschool pics.

You could call him Bowser the Dog Faced Ogre. Bowser is both a traditional canine name & the name of the bass singer for Sha Na Na.
