Skaven from Eshin is another company which I have set up.

I have started the recruitment process from the models, and as Giant Rats I used miniatures from Giant Rats Set from HQ Resin.

They look to be pretty nicely done rats. Decent looking miniature giant rats are not all that abundant. The metal ones from Wyrd are really cool & out of production. Reaper has some reasonably good giant one & their Dire Rats are cool. Have FUN painting them up!

Are you building something in your workshops? I'm still working on the Merchant's House.

If ever you asked yourself: coffee or tea? This is in the case of weathering the white surface the answer is one: both coffee and tea.

All you have to do is prepare a strong drink, then boldly and swiftly paint the walls of the model.

The effect of staining the walls of the Merchant's House with coffee and tea can be seen below.

In the pictures that I placed under the entry below I can not see it too well but also carved pavement surrounding the building.

The coffee & tea stain worked SPLENDIDLY. That was a popular way to do model railroad ties way back when.  The carved paving stones are easier to see in the lats photo AND they look TERRIFIC. VERY WELL DONE!  

Slowly in the Merchant's House appear equipment. The first piece of furniture is made of balsa and styrodur library, which I placed in the alcove on the floor of the building.

Soon, on the blog I will publish a tutorial in which I will describe in a few words how to build a library. It is very easy.

The book case & contents are IMPRESSIVELY modeled & painted. It looks WONDERFUL in its surroundings. VERY NICELY DONE!

Stained glass windows are another element that appeared in the Merchant's House.

As you probably noticed around the building I made a pavement, which in the near future will have to be covered with debris and rubbish but before that the candles will appear in the building.

It looks like you base coat your mini the same as I do; i.e., white over black. It's another Great Minds moment.

I agree- the stained glass is an excellent touch.

With a toothpick and a copper wire and glue Wikol made some candles that appeared in the ruins of the Merchant's House.

The candles turned out BEAUTIFULLY. For the last batch I did I used plastic tubes, wire wicks with some green stuff for the exterior & hot glue flames. Yours certainly painted up SPLENDIDLY. VERY NICELY DONE!  

On the 13th day of the 13th month at 13 hour 13 minutes on the blog DansE MacabrE appeared three hunched Skaven. The Skaven, who gnawed under the yoke of the palanquin, moved cautiously, and the aura which was beating from the litter of the Black Chest in the center bristled the hair on the back of the neck and induced the primitive, uncontrollable fear of entropy. The Skaven Horde gathered on both sides of the path which the porters were following with reverent worship fell face to face, and in the cave hollowed in the very mouth of the Underdark there were screams:
- Treasure-treasure! Treasure-treasure!...

That is an interesting, imaginative idea brought to life WONDERFULLY. VERY WELL DONE!

Almost done!

With a variety of waste done and painted the rubble around the Merchant's House.

I diversified the debris here and there with posters, as well as grass, leaves and cladonia rangiferina.

That does look SPLENDID. The litter adds tha certain Mordheim touch to the piece. OUTSTANDING WORK!

Some time ago I came in possession of the A well set from Black Grom Studio.

You can find more models from Black Grom Studio on eBay.

I decided to put a well on a round bases, which was left to me from the recently reviewed set Cage Rager from Privateer Press and used as a free model during the Warheim FS games.

That is a LOVELY well, BEAUTIFULLY painted & based. The plastic base works splendidly with the well. VERY WELL DONE...no pun intended...probably!

I start new warband:Chaos Dwarves to Warheim FS.

The first model I took for the workshop is the Iron Demon - slave coach of the Chaos Dwarves, and yesterday I managed to paint the skin.

Great job on the skin QC: looks tough and leather-y but still like skin.

The Lads & Beasty look SPLENDID with a distinctive Scibor charm. The skin tones are perfect for the subjects. OUTSTANDING START!  

Agreed -- great work on the skin, & a fearsome start to a warband!
