Motivated by Pepe, who is hosting the April Miniatures Blog Carnival edition, I reached into the MoM Miniaturas model box and chose the Troll model that reminded me the most of the theme: Something stinks in here!!!
You can read more about the model in the review HERE.
When painting the Troll, I decided to experiment with painting the skin and painted it only with shade paints, i.e. old wash from Games Workshop.
Hair, loincloth and weapons are contrast paint and metallic paint from Games Workshop.
I also experimented with the baseplate, which was meant to be swampy, but on average I'm happy with it. Fortunately, I managed to save her a bit with tufts of grass from Gamers Grass.

That is a WONDERFULLY NASTY looking Troll. Your imaginative color choices make for a BEAUTIFULLY painted creation. The base is LOVELY...on the strength of your bases I order a bunch of the Gamers Grass packs. As always, VERY WELL DONE!

...actually Kladrin and Brend from MOM Miniaturas, whose review you could read HERE.
Although you will admit that the resemblance to the most famous pair of Old World heroes is certainly not accidental.
This time I decided to paint Felix and Gotrek in a completely classic and canonical way, so the heroes got white pants with blue stripes, while Felix wore a red Sudenland cloak.
I painted both models with a Roubloff brush, and the stands were decorated with GamerGrass tufts.

Motivated by Wołek Zbożowy, who is hosting the May Miniatures Blog Carnival edition, I started cleaning the display shelf in the attic from dust, with my younger daughter bravely assisting me.
After bringing the Detolf bought in Ikea to such a state, I started taking pictures, and the effects of the difficult fight with poor lighting and a sloping roof can be seen below. The photos show mainly painted miniatures and building models, which appear in the photos. However, since I took the photos with a smartphone, which did not do well in the conditions with photos of unpainted miniatures, you can estimate the size of the pile of shame on the basis of the first three photos, there is still more than just painted things.
In the photos you can also see additional shelves that I installed in the display shelf, some of them are A-Space sale from A-Case, and some are a solution from the Inkub blog - Wojna w miniaturze, i.e. additional shelves mounted on metal wire clamps.
However, I still can't get myself to install the lighting, but I think that after I have cleaned the shelves from dust and rearranged the miniatures on the shelves, it will be easier for me to finally do it.
Due to their dimensions, models of the Teufelsberg village were placed on non-glazed shelves mounted on profiles to the wall.
On the desk on the other hand, you can see the scenic display in a wooden case for Ostlanders for Warheim FS, which I am currently working on.
And that would be it when it comes to the shelf.

A display area like that is something that I can only dream about. I am envious, but your BEAUTIFUL work deserves the space. CPNGRATULATIONS!
