Thank you! Yes, sock mask or balaklava also works great when you want to do a quick head;) I like Hasslrfree, but this model had such a small head, it looked ridiculous:)

I find it hard to keep the proportitions while sculpting, the head on the second one is a little big, but I did not have it in me to do it all over one more time.. thanks for looking:)

The amount of details you sculpt on each piece is INCREDIBLE! The expressive faces are what I enjoy most about your creations. FANTASTIC WORK!  

The general idea with the Russians is a postapocalyptic variation of the russian OMON police. I'm thinking a mixed gear set-up in a "take-what-you-find" spirit, so various russian gear is whats up.

The setting for the specific game (skirmish) where into right now is based in a fictional city called "Balakovo" (think pripyat, checnya or caucasus in a mash-up), a few different fractions like survivors, military, police, evil corporations whit hired mercs, jihadists, and freaks from the zone etc. Just like Mordheim, there's something of value in the city of Balakovo, like high end technology, weapon stash or whatever suits the mission/scenario.

hello, so a little update, been quite busy with the sculpts this christmas:)

Another russian finished:

This was supposed to be a woman when i started, but turned out to be a big guy with a big gun instead:)














not finished yet. Criticism is welcomed:)

so here is my try on a woman. I had to think a little bit about my approach on this one. I beleive most of the women portraid in the miniatures world is kind of poorly made, so I tried to go about as realistic as i could. Lower height, thinner arms and smaller features allover was what I tried to have in mind. Also smaller breast!











The braid was something of a test in thecnique, it didn't turn out as I wanted it so I put on a cap:) Oh, and the arm on the kneeling guy above is kinda long, but I didn't have it in me to do it over again... lesson learned maybe:)

FANTASTIC! Your abilities with Green Stuff is the stuff of dreams for most of us. Both pieces are BEAUTIFULLY sculpted with a WONDERFUL array of details AND possessing well defined personalities. The OH-SO-COOL Russian painted up as SPLENDIDLY as his sculpt promised...the base is really TERRIFIC as well. OUTSTANDINGLY WELL DONE!

Thank you both! Started a rottweiler last night, and one more apocalyptic freak, pictures coming soon. Thinking of trying some mordheim/medieval stuff soon also, but it feels somewhat hard to sculp armor. Thanks again:)

So this is the post-ap freak. I wanted a really gritty, dirty freak with some shocking value (for random encounter in the dark ruins), so painted him in darker skin colors. Had something of a ghoul in mind.

And a dog, this was quite hard and I struggled for to long. But i decided that I would finish it and move on to th next one rather then doing bad parts over again by cuttin away and so on:)
