| Now I know that futuristic figs aren't exactly hot news on this forum, but I still wanted to share my latest endeavors in this matter. Why? Well, a bit more than a year ago, I promised myself I'd make me a new 5K Epic army by the end of 2012, cut down into 6 parts of 800 points per two months. Ok, so I am 2 months overdue, but the army is finished now. This is what the army looked like when I assembled all figs I had available in january 2012 : Before I began, I decided on a colour scheme, and I wanted an individual heraldry for each Titan & Knight Paladin. But I also wanted one piece of heraldry present on all figs. So I pondered upon a name for the legion, came up with Legio Lacrima Sanguis. This name immediately gave me a strong image I could reproduce both on bigger and smaller figs. Step by step, this evolved into an army. Here are some screenshots taken whilst I progressed : Warhounds Knights Paladin with their Senechal ThunderboltsSentinelsAnd the full army as it stands now, well over 5K so I have a couple of options I can choose in between when playing 5K and a LOT of options to choose when I play 3K (which happens more regularly actually) | |

| The Tiny Warriors look GREAT! While the Little Lads are a bit much for my Old Eyes, they are definitely the way to go for larger games. The Titans are particularly appealing. VERY WELL DONE! There are a fair number of Folk here that are into SciFi in addition to their Mordheim addiction...I'm into minis of all descriptions & sizes. I think you'll have a following if you continue to post. | |

What's stopping you? Epic is purrrfect as a side-dish for larger projects. As you can see, you don't really need all that much to get a complete, big army. And on top of that, most of the Epic figs are dirt-cheap in second hand (with the odd exception like an Ordinatus (to the right of the big Titan in the last piccie) which goes from 50 to 80 dollars and even beyond on Ebay, or Nid infantry which goes at rediculous prices). Apart from these guys, I have around about 17K of Epic Orkses painted, and a small modest army of 3K Epic Space Wolves | |

| The main problem is that none of my gaming friends play Epic, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to convince them to start... but I would like to build an Eldar army... You know what, I'll try to persuade them. Thanks for the inspiration! | |

| Cool army, I am always impressed by those lunatics who manage to paint Epic and Warmaster armies. They are so tiny! You have done an excellent job. | |

| Wow! That's material for a grand battle... exactly what I like about Epic/Warmaster, while the models are tiny, the scale of the battle is huge... | |
