Excelent work, as always.

The waterfall is a challenging project, but by what you've done so far, I'm confident that you'll achieve it with flying colours.

I think I’m good for painting the river, at least this side. I should be turning this thing around and continue working on the other side pretty soon. Once all of the stone work is done, I can paint the rest of the water, and then the scary step of water effects.

Are you doing the water effects on this side before you turn it? Best of luck.

I think I'm going to turn it and do all of the water effects at once. It'll be easier to control that ay.

Being that Gripenhem was founded by exiled fur trappers, the hunting lodge has always held a prominent place on the island. The current lodge sits at the top of the island, very near to where the original wooden lodge was built.

VERY IMPRESSIVE WORK! You are a true master of the foam.  

Gatehouse is painted. I’m pretty stoked about my griffon freehands.

That is OUTSTANDING; the colors are subtle, but warm & attractive nonetheless. AND the freehand Griffons look WONDERFUL, definitely something to be proud of. VERY WELL DONE once more!  

+1 what Al said! The Griffon freehands are definitely something to take pride in.

Almost makes me want to reconsider all my Mediterranean/Caribbean terrain and go back to northern Europe.

Wow theomar, fantastic looking gate house, like the gate colours, and the shields up there are a nice little detail!

From time to time I see your blog. I like your style. The gate house like me very well. The colors do the entire image of the city is very good.
I am waiting for more.

Painting is pretty much done on the Barefoot Dancer. Looks like I have some fit issues I need to take a look at, but nothing a magnet won’t fix. I also have to fill the window boxes for this one.

BEAUTIFUL! The street winding upward looks real enough to make me take a second look. FANTASTIC WORK as always!

Ahoy Mordheimers, hopefully season finds you in good health and spirits.
I've been working on resurfacing the islands cliffs. I'm carving the surface onto a piece of foam, and then I'm cutting it off and gluing it in place on the cliff. This way is working out pretty well, it's keeping me from having to do too much joint filling.

LOOKIN' GOOD! The rock surfaces are OUTSTANDING, AND, in case I haven't mentioned before, I LOVE the stairs. GREAT WORK!  

Love the texturing on the cliffs. Only quibble is that it lines up a little too well with the slant of the stairs. Unless the whole island is slanted like that it'll look odd in the end, as rock weathering doesn't (often) dramatically shift angles

Getting some painting done on the cliffs. I'm going to wall in the stairs, so I need to get the paint knocked out first.
