With my village nearing completion, a good amount of my time now is going towards getting the massive pile of unpainted lead into a pile of painted townsfolk. I'll use this thread to show my progress. I've never been much of a figure painter, but this is more about using the figures to showcase the town, than the other way around.
How about a pair of potion merchants.
Reaper cleric as a potion seller.
Megamini potion seller.

That's a FINE START to populating Dunbrough. The combination of minis & their proper environment make each better than they would be separately. You've got some GREAT LOOKING pieces there...nice brushwork. The Wizardly Babe is probably my favorite...lovely face. Enjoy the process.

A few more minis to fill the village.
A Fenryll farm hand as a street vendor, selling giant tomatoes.
Also, a Reaper water bearer from their Zodiac series, and another towsfolk with a broom. The Reaper townsfolk are a joy to paint, lots of character, without being too fiddly.

Excellent use of the Fenryll mini. I didn't think she would scale well with the 28mm setting (knowing how big Fenryll minis can be), but this just proved me wrong.

Of this last batch the female adventurer and the grey sorcerer/storyteller is my favorites! I can see the old man be some kind of Gandalf and telling spooky stories for the youngsters in the village.
And to see the adventures walk around barefoot just increase the idyllic part. Seems like a perfect place to rest and regain health at after some hard adventures!
All in all; A loovely work!

Love it - especially the scene in the market scenes.
Have to say, though, can't wait to see more of this outside, with natural light. That will be incredible.

Easier said than done. It's 4x8, and won't fit in my car. Nor would the buildings all fit in my car separately. When the weather turns nice I've still got a couple of things to take to the park and shoot. Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm a bit self conscious about my minis, I don't spend anywhere near the time on them that I do on scenery.

No pressure! Your minis look great. I always find it hard to come up with interesting colour combinations for the clothes and yours look awesome. Everything works amazing as a whole (scenery and figures).
