After the stuff hardened I realised, that it is pretty easy to cut away the round edges and I don't have make the stuff rectangular right from the start. It looks much better now

Here is my new mansion. Started buiilding from nothing at 6 o'clock pm. Finished at 2 am. watched 3 movies.
The second floor will be kept removeable (have an idea for fixing it to a certeain position) for transport and playing. The roof is the next thing on the list.
Should I add more framework?

That's going to be a beauty once complete. NICE WORK!
I would go more woodwork if you want a half timber effect.

New Stuff:
left side: wooden crates cut of rigid foam
right side: a monument dedicated to the mordheim "insert number here" sword regiment "insert nickname here" who fought bravely in the battle of "...." against "...." and were the ones who killed the evil magician "instert very evil name here"



My collection so far is getting more and painted bit by bit

It's all coming along VERY NICELY! I have things that have been waiting on paint for years, so I can't be critical of slow paint jobs. Keep up the GOOD WORK!

Hey, sorry for the late reply. You're doing amazingly well. I wish I could find time and motivation for my own terrain building these days.

Yes, more framework in my opinion. Too many big open spaces look a bit strange, so definitely add more wood. I've been learning a lot from Theomar's WIPs, so check them out if you get the chance:

Had no time for mordheim the last weeks, but yesterday I've been hit by a rage. So now here is the result, a watchtower, or maybe a wizards place?

Those are GREAT, especially if you think about what few resources and materials you have available. A tip, try using Cernite clay if you don't want to waste your green stuff. It has to harden in the oven, but it can be filed down and cut afterwards of anything should slightly spoil them. I use it to make pieces for furniture which I then glue together (sort of like a Mordheim IKEA service )

Its basically corc and a base made of chiseled stone I found in a store where they sold candles you find stuff in the darndest places. These were for placing live candles on. Screw that, this is perfect building bases!)

Thanks, I try to spend as few money as possible on the terrain construction , so I NEVER use expensive green stuff on terrain



I've started Infinity (http://www.infinitythegame.com) some months ago and here are my frist sci-fi buildings

Finally, after some months of sci-fi, mordheim has me back

Next will be more buildings, as I realize I need at least 4-6 more... and more walls, barricades, maybe a big storehouse,....

Near the top of the page (2) you said your 2nd floor will be removable of your mansion and you had an idea to keep it in place.
I was woundering how that went and what it was as I'm trying to figure out the same kind of thing and wanted to know how your luck went.

Also looks vary promising for a board and enjoy your buildings (even that 40k thing).

As to a movie, Lord of the Rings you can't go wrong with (and they got lots of ruins mixed into the movies for insperation). Fantasy seams to get little love in the movies so can't say too many that are good.
Prince of Persia and Excalaber are other good ones.

WELCOME BACK! Mordheim's Siren Song has worked its magic again.
The Board looks cool with the square & circular courts. If you go for a movie, pick out something that isn't going to hold your undivided attention. Have FUN doing the cobblestones!

Hah, your "ugly buildings of horror" turn out to look really good! I love the technique with the toilet paper, that's something I'm going to try myself! I'm curious about your gaming table so I look forward to seeing your progress on that!
