| Vary well done.
I don't care for the model my self but the paintwork is great.

| Congratulations on the new models. One could see that a tremendous amount of love and pride went into these miniatures and it really was reflected and translated in the finished products. Great work!

| Ever since I got into Warhammer Fantasy (A very LONG time ago), I always liked the idea and fluff of Dragon Ogres: ancient creatures from another age that made a pact with the Dark Powers. Thunder and lightning awaken their eternal rage, and unleash their colossal power upon their foes! I never really cared for the old GW models, however. The new plastics, on the other hand... A single from the front: Side Views: And the entire unit: Still need to do the bases, but I am VERY happy with how they look | |

| The Big Guys painted up VERY NICELY. Each new post you make seem to be a step forward in your painting skills. GREAT WORK! | |

| Cool dragon ogres! The old ones had a certain charm but were very cartoony.
Very well painted indeed!

| Lately I've been playing a LOT of WFB to test out the new Warriors of Chaos Codex, and I'm also putting together a new campaign based on the old Realms of Chaos books that GW put out in the late 80's (my first exposure to WFB). In that spirit, here are the models I'm putting together for a Tzeentch Warband with the new Chaos Lord as Leader. The Sorcerer: The Warriors/Heroes: Some Marauders/Henchmen: Some slavering hounds always accompany any Chaos Warband! And the Group Portrait: Gonna let a buddy of mine borrow these since he's the Khorne player: | |

| Very nicely painted chaoticans. Good to see Oldhammer getting some love have you read this blog? Lots of good stuff about the realm of chaos. The golden armour on the tzeentch freak is cool, as is the marauder shields! Would you mind telling how you did it? | |

| The Chaos Guys are LOOKIN' GOOD...for Evil Doers that is. Your color choices & brushwork are up to your normal high standards. VERY WELL DONE! When G.W. reintroduced their Chaos War Bands Rules a few years ago, my then local games store had quite a popular League going. War Hammer Fantasy games, however, never really took off...40K & War Machine were the biggies. | |

The golden armour on the tzeentch freak is cool, as is the marauder shields! Would you mind telling how you did it? That blog has been a good source of material for me, and my primary "go-to" for ideas and such for the campaign. Had to tweak a few things on my end to incorporate the Mordheim rules, but I think it's off to a great start. The Sorcerer's armor was Shining Gold with Regal Blue linings. I Shaded it all with Seraphim Sepia, and then went back over the blue edges again with Regal and Enchanted Blue. The Marauder shields were actually REALLY easy. I started with a base of Tin Bitz, then a thick drybrush of Boltgun Metal, and a final wash of Agrax Earthshade. Thanks for the kind comments! I'm glad you like them.

| The Big Bad Guy does look COOL & is a FINE piece of brushwork. GREAT WORK! The question does come up though is a Demon Prince or the Ogre Dragons usable in Mordheim? | |

Well, in the new campaign I'm writing for the Chaos Wastes, a Dragon Ogre IS available for use as a Large creature such as a Troll or Ogre, but are very rare and difficult to come by (I have an exploration roll as the only way a warband can recruit one.) In mordheim, I have used a Giant as a centerpiece for a large multiplayer battle, and I figure that a Demon Prince could be a nasty substitute. Thanks for the compliments, and I'll keep more pics coming!

| Thanks. I was pretty sure the Big Guys had a function; I just wasn't sure what it was...the Prince could have been THE ULTIMATE Ogre. | |

| Nice paintjob on daemon prince! I'm not a fan of the model but you have painted it up very well. I like that he is green without being a nurglite. | |

| Re-visited one of my Chaos Sorcerers that I wasn't entirely happy with. Decided to give him a more Nugle-esque look. | |

| Thanks for the kind words! No conversion work, but I admit I had to re-do the skin tone a few times until I was satisfied with the look. Glad you like him! | |

| A Death Wizard seems most appropriate for Mordheim...especially since my last stop on my Morning stroll through The Forum was Hrimfar's Graveyard. The Old Boy really painted up nicely.. GOOD color choices & brushwork. VERY WELL DONE! | |
