| Hello all! I want to introduce you to my pride and joy (as far as modelling goes!). This all-plastic kitbash was something I put together from no less than 7 different sources, and took me nearly a week to paint. I use him as my General of my Warriors of Chaos army for WFB and he will have a prominent role as the main villain in one of my upcoming campaigns. I give to you: Dargan Firebrand, herald of Tzeentch and slayer of champions. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] His second-in-command I also am very proud of: A Sorcerer of Tzeentch with unprecedented power. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] Here are also a pair of heroes that frequently face off against the threats of chaos, [img] [/img] as well as a pair of Warrior Priests. [img] [/img] | |

| G.W.'s plastic pieces do provide a great opportunity to create unique pieces...you've made the most of it.All the Guys look FANTASTIC; the Warrior Priest's Book cum Shield is a very nicely detailed touch. All are VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Green Stuff on the red and white Warrior Priest? Nice job. Great kit bashing, plastic kits have to be one of my favorite GW things, so much possiblity. | |

| Actually, no Green Stuff. The front of his armor was from a Black Templar Space Marine (I LOVE the bitz box at my LGS!), and his hooded head was from Dark Angels Space Marine (I think). Ironically, it's the same head on my Chaos Lord too! Possibly long lost twins on opposite sides of a grand conflict... Plastic kits are just awesome. Here's some other angles of the General. | It was really funny, the first time I fielded him, my Empire opponent was so intimidated by the model that he focused all of his artillery fire on him. He was taken out, but the rest of his army was able to get close in and wipe them out. Khorne was pleased! | |

| Been hard at work on some new minis. First off is a group of mutants for a special scenario I had some of my fellow 'heimers try. [img] [/img] Next up are a Youngblood and Champion for my new Middenheimer warband. [img] [/img] And here are the rest of the heroes, with the Captain on the far left, a Champion in the middle, and the second Youngblood on the right. [img] [/img] Some various Henchmen: [img] [/img] And lastly, the GW Nurgle Chaos Lord. Had some fun painting the rust on his armor. [img] [/img] | |

It definitely ranks up there with the Empire Militia and Archers sets in terms of versatility if you're a chaos player. I had all these extra bits laying around and some of the guys were telling me how they were getting tired of the same kind of skirmishes and wanted something different. Will post the scenario that went with them in another thread. Glad you like them btw. | |

| Looks like you're making the most of all the cool plastic stuff...G.W.'s plastic minis offer a treasure trove of possibilities. The Nurgle Guy turned out nicely also. WELL DONE!

| Been working on the rest of my Chaos Marauders lately, and was trying out some tattoo/scarring techniques on some of them, since I like the idea that these guys are scarred veterans of numerous battles and rarely come out unscathed. [img] [/img] I was pretty proud of the outcome on this guy. Kinda makes me want to build up a Marauder warband. Not like I don't have the models! | |

| After painting all of those elves, I figured I'd get back to my roots in the Chaos wastes. This guy has been sitting in my bits box for nearly a year now, and I've been meaning to get him a more suitable mount than the Manticore he came with. After a little green-stuff work and other bits added, I'm well on my way to getting a proper Tzeentch Sorcerer on a Disc! Here's a few WIP pics. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] Took these pics while the washes were drying, but I'm pretty happy so far with the look of him. | |

| In agreement with JoaoS, I think his position gives the impression of maintaining his balance...physically at least. He's painting up quite nicely; & the Disc Thingy looks like it will be Oh-So-Cool once completed. GREAT WORK! | |

| Thanks for the compliments guys! Mostly done with him, though I'm still not completely satisfied with the look of the Disc. Anyways, here's how he looks: [img] [/img] And from the back: [img] [/img] I'll get some more work done on him later in the week, but for the time being, I'm pretty pleased. | |

| Great painting skills you have there.
I have a hell of a time painting clothes (like cloaks), so I really appreciate the kind of work you did on this model.

| LOOKIN' GOOD! You're color choices are more subdued than the normal G.W. take on Tzeentch Wizardly Types, but he looks the part nonetheless. GREAT WORK! | |

| Thanks guys. Cloaks aren't too difficult with practice, I just ran a lighter blue over the raised areas of the cloak, as well as the borders, and then gave it a wash of dark blue. I'll post more pics when I get a chance. | |

| I try not to be too critical of G.W. & their (insert the expletive of your choice here) prices, but there is quite a rant going on over on the Lead Adventure Forum...I'm avoiding putting my two cents in...so far. That aside His Expensiveness painted up just LOVELY; your brushwork nicely enhanced a quite expressive face. FINE WORK! | |

| Thank you nala! The compliments I get here on the forums really make me proud, especially since they're coming from REALLY talented people. Glad you like him. BTW, my main beef with GW, if you can call it that, is that they keep on coming up with such COOL stuff, they know I'm gonna buy it! Damn my weak-will-towards plastic pieces! | |
