Here's what's available from Reaper:

Warlord has some nice Mastiffs that might appeal to you...I believe they're less expensive than Reaper's stuff also. What a Face

Thanks a lot guys! I found the Warlord models on ebay but they had a handler and cost more than ordering direct. Think I'll order a pack of each right now Very Happy . I knew someone on here would point me in the right direction.

You could check these out. US company but will post to UK for a reasonable price, I use them with GW classic Estalian and Lost legion models and the scale is perfect. Look like traditional Mastiffs used by the Spanish conquistadores too!

These two Reaper fellows are quite something:

There's a funny dog on one of Mantic's Dwarf sprues (they had a *thing* of putting a critter on command sprues for the core regiment of each race)

Anyway for a slightly commical dog for a diorama or some characterfull scenery i think it would work nicely.

There is a good picture of him on this mantic blog entry:
http://www.manticblog.com/?p=1099

This is a Total wargamer blog entry about the dwarves:
http://www.totalwargamer.co.uk/blog/?p=460

And here's where the dog is on the command sprue: (you can get the command sprue on it's own, dont have to buy an entire regiment for it):

and a link to the product on their site:

That's cool, izmerul! It looks to be a Dachshund, which reminded me Olley's Armies have Dachshunds for their Scrunts (SciFi Dwarfs):
