| Hey all! So, summer is over and the mordheim season has begun for me My first (of many) projects this fall is a Ogre Maneater warband: First off, the captain: A Youngblood: Another Youngblood: And last, my thrid Youngblood: Hope you enjoy, next in line is my Mountain Guide, but that one hasn't been painted yet so that will have to wait for another time | |

| LOVE THE BIG NASTIES! Your take on them turned out TERRIFIC...especially the Captain. WELL DONE! If you're up to it, a little ground cover on the bases would add to the Lads' good looks. | |

| Thanks! My camera really doesn't do them justice though The main reason for making a Maneater warband was that the new Golgfag mini came out, which I thought was waaaaay cool So naturally he had to be my captain (with a few adjustments)! | |

| That new Golgfag surely is awesome looking and you've painted him very well. Overall look of your warband seems grim and menacing, just appropriate for Mordheim. Bases could use some love too and I spotted some visible mould lines, but otherwise great job. | |

| Actually, the only time I have tried to do something about the bases was with my Beastmen and I wasn't really happy about that at all! At some point I guess I will try again, but I haven't really decided weather it should be tiles og sand and grass yet... | |

| The Captain is awesome, he's going to kick ass. I was never a fan of grey skinned ogres. I'm going to picth in with the others and push you for a little base love If they are purely for Mordheim ( as opposed to EIF or BTB ) than why not invest in some textues plastic card, I use it for a lot of my warbands now and it makes things easy, especially if you paint them befoe you attach the mini ( which I don't lol ) Do you have any more recruits lined up for these fellas? | |

| No, the grey skinned ogres were ridicules, good thing they changed that in the new army book What are these "textuse plastic cards" you are talking about? Maybe you got a link where I can see it? Yes the entire warband is in line for painting (a mountain guide, two bulls, two sabretusks and three half-grown with mortars), but knowing my self well, I probobly won't finish them before another idea pops into my head and nags me until I act on it | |

| Slip of the finger, my bad. I ment textured plastic card. In the Uk I got a few different varietys from a store halled hobby zone. It's a bit like this stuff ( bottom of the page, tho the stuff I have is slightly diferent and made by a company called WILLS FINECAST ). | |
