| That's coming along VERY WELL indeed. The thatched roof is a really cool touch. | |

| it´s been a while but now a little update. the observatory tower some decoration while i was working on the wizardtower some kind of rubbish came in to my hand and i had the idea using it to build some kind of depot of a dwarfenbrewery. just gave them a core of styrofoam because i wanted them to be durable but not too heavy. after this i filled some plaster in. Here you can see how i wanted it to look like. your comments are welcome | |

| This, I take it, is the pinnacle of Dwarven brewing arts... VERY COOL LOOKING! I consider the knack for taking things that most Folk view as disposables cum trash & turning them into lovely creations like your brewery to be an highly creative art form. Keep up the FINE WORK! | |

| Hallo everybody, @Deaf: thank you, i think if you have a dwarf under hire you need some beer but if you have an army of dwarfs you need a lot of beer. And by the side i'm painting my mantic dwarfen army, about 160 dwarfs all bearded and armed. You will imagine they need some galleone of beer! The last few weeks i had little time but i used all the time i had to build a little this and that and today i´m just surprised how much it became. here are a few pictures of what i´ve done the magetower got some color an older house, based and build a chimney and a cellar entrance some time ago i´ve made a mold of it . Now i am able to build these houses quite fast A barn, based on a picture i´ve seen at the insparation topic L-formed farmhouse, build with parts from the mold an some new one and an other house with a second Floor. These parts are old. I wanted to make a mold from them too but wasn't really pleased with the first mold (I descided to build single bricks and build houses from these). But now i've found these old parts and decided to use them for building an other house. Planning to get them all painted soon. | |

| Those plaster bricks you have there look just like mine. They're really handy, aren't they? Great houses there mate, the city is coming along nicely. Theo | |

I instantly recognised it! Fantastic job with the replica - brings me good memories of Hungary... Also, great job with the rest of your buildings! It's all looking exciting! Joao

| Yet more COOL STUFF! If the Tower were on a jaunty angle it would resemble the one in Pisa. The barn looks like one my Great Uncle had in the wilds of New Jersey...he was of Austro-Hungarian descent. Keep up the FINE WORK & have FUN painting! | |

| Hi everybody, It´s been a long time since my last post. Work and summer left little time to do some hobby projects. But now summer is over and a weekend without work brings some of the thinks to you i´ve build the last half of the year. My parents in law got an new refrigerator it came with four of this wonderful foam edges each one was about 1m (98cm exactly)long I can´t resist and build what came to my mind . A caslte wall,, left me with enough foam to build four towers and a gate. Parts of it you can see here. But because i like to do modular scenery i just build a alternative top for the gatehouse an the towers. For now i am able to build a bretonian or lustrian Castle. Planning to do one for Empire and maybe Vampires. I have to paint all 6 wallsections plus the gate, the tower, four ruined wall section (i still have to build them), a few buildings i´ve build too and my converted mantic dwarven army (i´m a bad painter but i hate unpainted mini or scenery more i hate painting). You see a lot of work for autumn and winter. | |

| Packing foam pieces make some of the coolest of terrain...looks like you've made the most of that Beasty. City walls & gates aren't all that often seen; pieces like this one may change that trend. The Lustrian embellishments look particularly fine. WELCOME BACK & keep up the EXCELLENT WORK! | |

| Looking cool there, I like the buildings too.
What did you use for the "teeth" (for want of a better description) under the ramparts?

| Thank you for your nice comments, they keep me going on. Even if i knew it is not the best scenery i am pleased there are a few people who like it too even at it´s standard.
@maxxev: the teeth are a stripe of 3mm foam cut into form and glued to its place (ok you got me, wasn´t that less work i want you to belive. But i thought if you want to make more than just a painted foam edge you have to do some "decorative" work on it)

| Yikes, I was hoping it was something pre-made, all cut out of foam is too much like hardwork for me!! lol. | |

| I like it! The ingenuity of the folks on this forum never ceases to amaze me, for example your destructible building... brilliant!
...but sometimes it's the little things that impress me the most. I have never seen someone make a barrel in such a dilapidated state, it really looks atmospheric and for some reason I'm quite fond of it! I can't wait to see these painted.

| A little update to show that i´m just building. add a Gate you are able to open and close, i´ve stolen the idea from Boreas and it works fine and i will be able to replace the gate (if i find enough time to do a second one) | |

| Holidays are comming, thats why i had some time to do some scenery. I've build some pyramids for a lizardmen city (even without own any lizardmen). But i like the idea of warriors creeping through the jungle just to stumble over some old stones. I planned to use the holidays to build more buildings, some jungle bases and maybe paint all of these. | |

| Excellent step pyramids, ziggurats, whatever. I didn't have any lizardmen either when I started my Lustrian projects, but I have always enjoyed exploring the lost cities of the Old Ones. Now I have bunches of the Lizard folk, but that's how the hobby works sometimes. | |

| Now that is REALLY COOL! The outer wall ties the rest of the pieces together WONDERFULLY, AND, as in the last photo, a cinematic way of viewing the ruins. GREAT WORK & LOTS OF POTENTIAL! | |
