No they're not. Games Workshop are the ones jumping on the band wagon, Mantic have been on it for months already. They've already re-released their undead cavalry in restic.
Thanks for the info. From G.W's ads, they sounded like they invented resin...of course, they think they invented minis, war gaming, & painting also.

I picked up a Lictor in Citadel Finecast today (was gonna get a box of Genestealers, but they were out so I went for a Lictor).
It seems decent quality, but will require further cleaning and painting before I can compare to plastic or metal. That will take some time as I am a ridculously slow painter!

Right at the risk of being shot down by even more Games Workshop Fanboi's I'm posting some pictures, which I just can't hug and kissing believe!!! This mini was left on the gaming table in my loft room and it appears the glorious hug and kissing British summer weather we're having has proved too much for it!!! OK so I stupidly left it where the sun would catch it, but last night that didn't occur to me to be an issue, this is what just presented itself to me when I went upstairs to do some painting!!!
