| I thought I could post up some of my models here. First is the Carnival of Chaos warband I'm playing now. Heroes (including my Carnival Master that died game three ): Henchmen: The warband includes two bowmen more (still missing dedicated models) and a plague cart. WIP of the cart: The guy that looks like Korpus Festerheart before the Supersize me experiment will end up as an emissary of chaos. | |

| Oh yes, your warband has it all (except for the mint CoC-minis maybe ): nice selection of minis, some cool-but-not-over-the-top conversions and a nice paintjob. Keep it up! | |

| You have my condolences for the loss of your Carnival Master...the REALLY COOL minis die young. The Survivors, such as they are, are EXCELLENT looking minis: AND I would agree with FKSN that the Plague Cart is something to look forward to seeing in its finished glory. Keep up the FINE WORK! | |

| I am in total agreement here. I'm looking forward to the plague cart, and your minis are well chosen, and equally well painted. It's a pleasure taking them out of action. For all of you others: check out mrtn's army diaries over at the herdstone (they can be found elsewhere, but all of them can be found there) - he's a prolific and proficient painter with many good ideas! | |

| Thanks! Here are some more WIP pics, they should show a bit more what's going on. Here's the driver. His upper body is made from five different model kits, none of them chaos. Here's a scene that will be mostly hidden, you'll have to look in through holes to see the naughty nurgling. I'll add cloth in the back as well, possibly in the front too. | |

| Wow! that Plague Cart looks very nice! What is it based on? A Snotling Pum Wagon? The driver looks cool! The only parts I recognise are from the skaven Plague \Monk kit, where are the rest of the bits coming from?
The rest of the warband also looks very nice, especially the classic Nurgle/Chaos models!

| Thank you. Yes, it's based on an old pump wagon. As for the driver, his left arm is from the plague monks, the right arm from the clanrats, his torso from zombies, lower part of his head from the old empire soldiers and top of the head from a night goblin. | |

| It is turning out TERRIFIC...the hidden detailing is an interesting idea that will reward a close examination of the piece. What are the two dowels going to be? | |

| Thanks. I'll put horses in between them. The wagon is very low, so it wasn't possible to attach them to the front as usual, they would have had to rise at a very steep angle to reach the necks of the horses. | |

| I think that using an old pump wagon as a base for the cart is a great idea. But if you could find/make some bigger wheels it would not ride so low. Also your driver is in an awkward position. Most wagon boxes set the driver much higher. Usually above the horses backs at least.
Raising the floor of the wagon would allow you to lose those odd poles as well. Most carts pulled by 2 horses have a single pole down the center. The poles extending from the sides are usually employed on a small cart drawn by a single horse.

| Bigger wheels wouldn't fit. And since I've started painting that's all academical. | |

| Love the snailbasher! One might say you've hit the snail on the head this time... Academics aside, a lowrider wagon would be pretty trendy right now in Cathay. | |

| Snail on the head. Just for you, here's a pig: This is still WIP, I still plan to close it in the back, but other than that (and the horses and base which are still unpainted) the cart itself is finished. Showing the mask and the poster for the latest play, "Thymus & Cardia", a tragedy in two (body)parts written by the famous Dr Fleishfliege himself (before his tragic death at the hands of an ogre). Here you see the nurgling preparing to bash the poor snail: And here you see the snail's trace: | |

No, it carries a meaning that you with your inferior medical knowledge are unable to grasp. They are both internal organs, thymus is "bräss" in Swedish, cardia is the medical greek for the heart (or the opening of the stomach). But they both sound as a pair of lovers.

| As thymus is lesser functional in old men than in young ones Thymus coul be an old sergeant, infatuated with Cardia...a renowned opera singer. Where's the problem? Cardia is not a real woman (as cardia isn't a real valve but works like it was) but only the pseudonym of a falsetto singing man. Thymus insistence in courtship and Cardia's reluctance are the main theme of this opera. How does it all end? Buy one ticket and enjoy the show | |

| EXCELLENT WORK on the Cart, Driver, & Passenger...they REALLY fit their roles. I love the shelf mushrooms on the Cart's side...nice touch. The Play you & drakkol have come up with is reminiscent of Shakespeare's 12th Night with a gender change. | |
