I've had some of my Possessed units based for quite some time, but forgot to take pictures of them. For all of these models I used some random bits of foamboard and sand glued to the base and painted grey to look like rubble.

Today I finished up all of my Rotten Belles. I decided to put them in a graveyard. I used some static grass and some custom gravestones that I made with foamboard. I also painted the outside edge green to signify the Resurrectionist army.

Overall I'm pretty happy with my basing on all of these. The belles turned out better than I expected I think.

Any feedback is appreciated. Smile

NOT BAD...nice, simple basing withe the gravestones adding a touch of detailing. You did, however, hit one of my pet dislikes in doing the "McVey" green base color. What a Face

I'm not sure how much I like it. I saw someone else do something similar to denote the faction of the models, and I liked the idea. I figured in the middle of a game it'd be easier to see what models belonged to which faction if I differentiated with the base color. I don't think they look too bad though.

Nice basing and great and expertly lighted pictures!

Perhaps you could paint a little triangular marking in faction colour on four sides of the base instead, should be as easy to see and not as overwhelming. Currently, they are kind of drawing the attention from the miniatures on top of them, in my opinion.

So, the current plan is to go back and change the base color to a very dark green, so as to not detract from the models so much. If that doesn't work I'll probably put the bases back to black, potentially with a small green strip around the bottom. Smile

I went back and painted over the base with a nice Dark Angels Green. It's very dark now. It looks much better. Smile I didn't have time to take pics last night, but I'll try to get new ones up soon.
