| Very nice outhouse!!
Now its hard to describe a outhouse as something charming and all cosy-looking but that is the feeling i get.
Oh, and the pic of the town reminds me of one of the best movies ever done; Men in Tights. More specific, the very first part of the movie where they sets all those buildings on fire...

| LOOKS TERRIFIC! I initially thought the wood grain effect was sculpted on...that's quite an effective piece of painting. The new style does come much closer to matching the Kobblestone pieces. VERY NICELY DONE! | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! At the outset, I would like to thank Soulblight, DeafNala and drakkol for the kind words and generous compliments on my outhouse project. Your munificent comments are truly a source of inspiration. Accordingly, I would like to share another project which I undertook over the weekend. The project was akin to the outhouse and I am equally pleased with how it came out but first, a little history... A few months ago, I bought my son a set of plastic toy cowboys and indians. The set came with a pilgrim's wagon which I immediately "appropriated" for my own use after having seen its hobby potential. Unfortunately however, it did not look medieval-ish so I decided to treat the wagon in the same manner as the outhouse. I also replaced the modern-lloking set of wheels and replaced it with a pair of GW-made ones and I ended up with a modest looking wagon which I think could pass of as a merchant wagon. Again, as with the outhouse, the surface of the wagon was treated to make it look like it was made from planks of wood. The woodgrain were all handpainted. I hope you guys like it! | |

| Oh and I also finished painting my Kobblestone Firepit which provided me with an ideal accessory for my wagon for those outdoor scenarios... | |

| The wagon looks good. The front is weird however, is it lacking the driver's seat? Now it looks a bit like a tractor in front... | |

| Both the Wagon & the Fire-Pit turned out TERRIFIC! Your wood grain technique is SPECTACULAR. VERY WELL DONE! On the front piece: 19 th century American wagons had that extension in front as a storage area [I believe it was called a "boot"] with a sprung seat above it. | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! I have recently acquired the Kobblestone Medieval Gatehouse and it is a beauty! It is made of resin and comes as one whole piece! I immediately set about to painting it in various shades of grays and browns and although this wonderful piece of terrain is far from finished paintwise, I have decided to share the same with the rest of the TBMF community. I hope you guys approve of what I have done with it... This is an "aerial" view of the front... This is a view from the other side. | |

| Your set up looks better than the one on the Kobblestone website. One odd thing, the towers don't seem to have arrow slits. What's that about? | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! @ VonKurst: Thank you very much for the compliment. I also noticed the absence of arrow slits on the tower and I attribute this probably to a design oversight on the part of Kobblestone. I intend to relay this observation to Bill, the proprietor of Kobblestone Miniatures for a possible design evaluation. @ DeafNala: Your encouraging comments are always appreciated. the Domed building is not a part of the gate house but a separate building altogether. It is Kobblestone's Medieval Chapel. I have not yet featured it because I am still not happy with the paintjob. It is still a work-in-progress. I was merely test-fitting the lay-out of my medieval village. Incidentally, this is the lay-out of the village thus far: From this... To this... I hope you guys like it.

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! I recently acquired two additional buildings for my gaming table. These are Steel Model's Medieval House and Medieval Forge . The kits are both made of resin and their sculpt and casting are exceptional. (The stone fence are from GW) Of course, with terrain kits this good, one needs to populate it with the appropriate miniature and so, I brought out and painted my stern-looking Reaper Miniature Blacksmith sculpted by Bobby Jackson and I have named him Olaf. I hope you like the buildings and the miniature... P.S. I would like to acknowledge DeafNala, drakkol and Von Kurst for their comments. | |

| Thank you floedebolle for your feedback and I will comply with your request to take a picture of my gaming table as soon as I am able. Meanwhile, let me regale you with more of my " civilians" and townsfolk which I was able to work on and paint over the weekend. Incidentally, I would like to inform the TBMF Community that every time I work on a miniature, I become somewhat attached to them and I end up " christening" them. Therefore, I hope that you guys would not find it weird if I end up giving these miniatures names... Meet Gustav the Bartender from Middenheim... Gustav has three daughters who help him run his tavern. Meet Olga... Helga... and Big Bertha... Together... ...they run "The Two-Tailed Wolf Tavern" | |

| Great work on the towns people as well as the town. I especially like the innkeeper and his daughters.
Someday they might appear in one of our many local taverns, but so far when we play Last Orders we forget the bystanders.

| VERY NICE! When the minis compliment the scene & vice-versa as well as yours do, a harmonious picture is created...brings the digs to life. The Reaper Town Folk are nice additions...they're part of the staff at Fast Flo's, my Cat House. | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! Sometime ago, floedebolle requested a picture of my gaming table. To begin with, I would like to point out that my gaming table is comprised of four 2/3 wood board with a cork base and metal ridges on the sides to provide strength and reinforcement. It is intended to be modular with various terrain pieces that would be deployed depending on the armies that would be playing on it. The idea is to make the Board as evocative as possible so as to appropriately set the mood for battle. Here are some of the configurations that it has undergone through the months that I have used the same: For Medieval, Empire and Bretonnian armies using mainly Kobblestone buildings- | |
