I am guessing you used insulation foam (blue or pink color)?

How did you carve out the sides?

Sorry, I missed your explanation but scrolling through I didn't catch it.

You can see it quite nicely here. It is simple styrofoam I cut with a box cutter. Then covered with spackle and PVA/sand for the ground. They do require some time but they are also quite easy to do.

Bang up job on the mine partner.

I was just admiring the forest section, then pondering how inconvenient they are to transport around town to use in games. You forest look a nightmare to move given the trees height! Wink

Ta,

Stu.

Indeed. Crrying two 2' x 4' boards, 9 forest sections, 3 scenic barricades, three wall sections, two huge Cathayan houses, three rocky pieces, a massive Ghartok's Tomb, 6 individuals trees, and eight mine tiles around is not really an option. That's why we play at my place. I am not looking forward to moving when I think of this.

This is absolutely fantastic. Great work on all of the details.

I just saw this mine and thought of you. I hope it helps. http://www.terragenesis.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4515

Those are really cool mine tiles. I want to make some now! Very Happy

They're probably a lot of fun to use.

Truly inspiring work there cianty! I was wondering if its okay to use this idea and build a similar mine system to fill up an entire gaming table.

I have to book mark this thread because it will be a useful tool in making my own scenery for the BTB Game my friends and I are looking to start-up in January.

Thanks a lot, Knightei!

Uhm... the Tomb is safely stored away and the interior pieces still not properly painted. Maybe some day I will take and post some photos but this is far away in the future.
