VERY NICE! I can sense the underlying clutter, ready to leap forth & overwhelm the room. When she wasn't staring holes in my head from under the mattress, my dog used to enjoy sitting on my painting chair also.

She was pretty good that way, although she did some interesting conversions on a couple of soft plastic minis.

The Ship on the top is actually a kit I picked up at a local craft store, one of those laser cut wooden puzzle things, I think it cost me $5 It is about the right scale, and I have been toying with how to convert it up or maybe use it as a template for creating or casting my own. It actually looks pretty good on its own, but would require a bit of tweaking for gaming. I don't have any better pictures of it right now, I will try to take some when I get home and post the name brand that escapes me right now.

The larger ship on the lower shelf is actually one I posted some WIP shots of, a bit ago but put on hold because the thing is massive. I really should finish it.

My workspace is nothing special, just a folding table in the middle of my room, taking up all the space because it's always covered with paint. On the day this was taken i was painting Skaven while figgy was painting Orcs.

A FINE WORK AREA with just enough clutter to add the proper ambiance for creative activity...mess, minis, & a cup of coffee. WELL DONE, Dubs!

Well here's mine, luckily it's neat right now .

The pic's not that wide though, so you can't see my whole workplace.

Okay, here we go... just got a new camera and finally got a permanent painting station set up. So here it is!

@Grubbi: somehow I can sense a mountain to minis & generalize clutter surrounding this one clear work space...AND I LOVE apricots. WELL DONE!

@Svenn: COOL work area...lots of toys. Now all you need is a couple hundred jars of paint, assorted brushes, & a thousand or two minis waiting to get done up, & the place will look proper.

Haha, yeah... I've been thinking of ordering a large paint set (the entire Vallejo set, actually) so that should help. There are a bunch of assorted brushes, they are just hard to see in that pic. The models... well I want them all, I just need to start saving. I spent all my money on all the other toys you see there. And the camera to take that pic. :-P

From everything I've heard about them, Vallejo make an EXCELLENT line of paints. Starting off with a large order is a FINE idea...check out one of the storage thingies...having some organization to colors is a necessity as the number of color increases.

Despite an institutional motif, there's enough clutter to make it a cheerful & productive spot...AND a couple extra chairs for a touch of camaraderie.

The table top will get several layers of crack sealer [in the Jug]. It dries eventually a transparent dark greenish blue. The table is set up for Geo-Hex tiles; SO areas not covered by the tiles will be lakes, ponds, streams, etc. I'm making cavern tiles for subterranean mayhem....at least, that's the plan.
